My wife ruined the previous cover because of the weight of her wheelchair, so, because this product appeared to be strong and flush to the floor, I bought it. But it turned out that the lever that controls the airflow sticks out quite a distance from the floor and would be fair game for wheelchair wheels, so, I had to use it elsewhere. That means Ill have to purchase another hopefully sturdy cover for the original location.

I dont typically write reviews unless something exceeded my expectation, or was huge disappointment When a company packages their product with such care along with a note asking for my honest review how can I not! I purchased 10 of these in different colors and sizes to replace 6yr old contractor grade rusted and warped covers. This company clearly takes pride in their product, as they should! They are absolutely beautiful, extremely well made with ALL metal construction, all at a very reasonable price point. I almost didnt buy because of a previous review regarding the directional flow tab being too exposed. Not the case, yes the tab sticks up a bit when the air flow is angled, but nothing extreme, and these covers are typically positioned so close to the wall, I cant imagine anyone finding it inconvenient. The antique copper goes perfectly with my bamboo floors, as do the nickel in our bedroom, pops nice with all the drawer pulls and curtain rods. I absolutely love them against the tiled areas in the house! So theres my honest review, speedy delivery, thoughtful packaging, and impressive quality!

These are sturdy and aesthetically pleasing registers, one thing popped out at installation. The rotation lever sticks out and is a bad shape considering how well made they are. If you install these in high traffic area, I wouldn’t want to step on the lever (see picture attached. I’m surprised for how well made they are This detail was overlooked. Otherwise very nice and worth the extra money if you can afford it.

We love our new floor registers! They are beautiful & very strong so no worries if you walk on them. I will be buying more as we remodel our 117 year old house. Thank you for making such a wonderful product!

Easy to install, sturdy, arrived quickly

This wasnt much more expensive than the run-of-the-mill air vent covers, but is much sturdier, prettier, and comes well packaged. We have it in a bathroom ceiling air vent and it looks great!

Overall the appearance is an upgrade from our old vents, but the face plate is a little smaller than I expected, and the adjustment lever protrudes from the face a bit. If you step on (the lever) barefoot, its pretty uncomfortable.

I ordered 2 different sizes as replacements for our existing registers, and both sizes fit well. I chose the Empire product because they are all metal, including the louvers, and have a range of styles and colors. I looked at many replacement floor vents at a few different retailers. I found that some of the less expesive registers include plastic parts, while some dont specify the materials. Delivery was fast. These registers are a perfect complement to our new flooring. I will definately purchase more Empire registers when we begin the renovations in other areas of our home.

I got the black register, which looked great on my dark oak floor. My vent opening is a little bit less than 2 1/4 inches, but it fits like a charm. I am so pleased. I had tried a few store-bought ones (different brands）that are exactly 2 1/4 inches and they just won’t fit. I am so glad that I found this one.
