> 24 hourIt was my electricians idea. Why not replace the existing halogen flood lights for the modern low energy ones. So I replaced all spotlights in my kitchen. I initially though it was ok in daytime but in the evening it was so flat, all the cozy appeal of the kitchen was gone! I kept using them for 10 days to see if I would get used to it. No way. It felt like a commercial kitchen. No charm, no personality, no matter if I dimmed the lights or not. So I changed back the bulbs to the previous Halogen ones and Im so happy I did.

> 24 hourI got the six pack of warm 3000K LED bulbs equivalent to 65 watt regular flood bulbs for my kitchen. To replace regular 65 floods. These seem to work but its far from warm light. Its typical ultra bright LED light. It might be okay if you want to sit your enemies in a chair and conduct an interrogation lol, but Id like my kitchen to be little more subdued. If you only have 2 or 3 light receptacles indoors you might get away with these warm LEDs, but many kitchens & dining rooms have more like 6-10 receptacles and youre either going to have different looking bulbs if you only replace some, or very, very intense brilliant light if you replace them all. Not for me.
