These bulbs provide good light; however, they are best for overhead lighting with the bulb facing down. If mounted facing up, most of the light goes up, with some to the side. Very little light goes down.

These bulbs are listed as 75 watt but when compared to the 60 watt bulb I replaced with this bulb there was absolutely NO difference. I am very disappointed in this bulb.
