They work the only thing is that they don’t have a long arm, and therefore shine in the child’s eye, while trying to do homework or read a book. I will have to find another product.

I purchased these for using to shine on my ice fishing hole so I can see the tip better. they werent bright enough for this so I ended up returning them. if using in closer they would be nice. I think for night reading (intended design) they would have been great. I liked the design and colors and the size is what sold me on trying them.

I bought a two-pack of these as I needed something to use when coloring and something for my Mom for reading. Im not sure what the battery life will be like, but it works great for my coloring! I was using the flashlight on my phone but this handy lil guy clips on and I can bend it or clip it where needed to work on my intricate coloring sheets. One switch, on or off. Clip is sturdy. This will work great for my Moms reading as well.
