> 24 hourI bought this to set up automatic timers on my aquariums. I had an energizer outdoor smart outlet and the app was easy to use and worked well. However, on the power strip, setting up timers in the app is a complicated process where you have to add smart scenes. If you make a mistake while making them, you have to start completely over. That would be a minor issue if everything worked the way it should. However, the timers often fail. Recently I took a trip and everyday my phone alerted me that the automated schemes were failing. I had to wait till I got back and hope for the best. When I got back, my power strip was no longer connected to my phone, and although I tried, I havent gotten it to reconnect again. My other power strip worked fine this time, but has had problems before. If the timers cant be relied on when I am gone and need them most, they are kind of useless. Im thinking Ill switch to multiple individual smart outlets instead and see if that works better.

> 24 hourDescription states “6 foot braided cord.” NOT! It’s only a 3 foot cord and it’s not braided. It even says 3 foot cord on the box! Really Amazon?

> 24 hourThis smart power strip works exactly as I had hoped, and allows me to switch on a lamp before entering the room. I also use it to switch speakers on and off. The Energizer app is not highly polished, but who cares, it’s utilitarian and does what you need it to do. I now have my outside patio string lights on an Energizer outdoor smart plug and now this power strip inside. Controlling both in one app is convenient and fun.
