Energizer Rechargeable LED Book Light Flex, 3 Modes, Warm Light Clip On Reading Light with Flexible Neck for Reading in Bed (USB Included)

> 3 dayHTC provided me a gift card to purchase the Energized Clip-On Book Light from Amazon. I read in bed all the time and I think its the perfect booklight - it has three light colors (warm, cool & blue) and since it charges on USB, it doesnt require never-ending quantities of batteries. I was concerned the light would be heavy (my rechargeable flashlight is) but I found it to weigh about as much as a battery-powered one; it didnt bend my usual soft-cover books I read at all and the coverage is excellent. The light resets to very bright every time (almost like 100% brightness on your phone) and it took a little time to figure out how to dim it since the instructions aren’t clear (if you’d like to know, you have to hold the power button rather than turning it).

Greater than one weekI love everything about this light, except I wish the light could be dimmed down more than it does.

Greater than one weekLook I havent bought a book light since I was in Middle School back in 94 and this is something that I wish would have existed in my childhood it has both natural light and Pure White light and if you hold down the button on top you can make it 10 times brighter and it will tell you the maximum setting of brightness with a flash to let you know that you hit the maximum setting the only downside is that its a micro USB and not a c-type (which honestly lets face it it should be because its universal)

> 3 dayI’ve purchased TONS of book lights over the years- not only for reading but for crafting as well (cross stitching mostly but other things as well). This is the best purchase I’ve ever made. Not only does it have an extremely long battery life, it is very bright and I really like that the light level is adjustable. It comes with a USB charging cable (no wall block) that is on the shorter side but that is fine with me. I also really like that the warmth of the light is adjustable through the different “modes”. Overall would purchase again!

> 3 dayI have macular degeneration and my world is slowly getting darker. Maybe for some one who has good eyesight, this would probably be a good light. I was disappointed and was expecting a brighter light. I also have to adjust the light for every page. It does NOT light up both pages of a book for me. It would also be helpful if the neck would be maybe an inch longer. By the time I get to the bottom of the page, it is almost too dark for me to read. The good thing about this light is the battery. It lasts a long time between charges. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to fully recharge it.

> 3 dayGreat gift idea for book worms! I gifted this to my besties for Christmas, and a few them them LOVE that they can use this late at night after their husbands go to sleep and they dont need to leave the nightstand lamp on. I like how you can adjust the flexible neck and find just the right spot for it to shine on your pages. It is lightweight and lasts a long time. My boyfriend has been using his every night (for a short period of time) for about a month and hasnt had to charge it yet.

> 3 dayLightweight with a good size clip. My cat was chewing on it when I woke up but it held up beautifully. The three different light types appear to have both a low and high setting. Either way, it works well for a light I can use to read at night that doesnt need to be plugged in and can move to wherever I go. Update: I figured out how to use the dimming feature. Press and hold the button to adjust how dim or bright the light is.

> 3 dayVery satisfied purchase. Use as secondary light source in car as heavy duty battery operated flashlight always seems to be dead. Easy to store and direct light. Pretty bright for my application and always works plus can charge on car USB port.

> 3 dayWhile I can not really comment on battery longevity because I haven’t had the reading light very long. I can say I appreciate the size of the light. It clips perfectly onto my books. The little LED book light had the adequate power to make reading at night comfortable without me keeping anyone else awake with the light being on. I also greatly appreciated not having to roll over and turn out the light. I just squeezed the power switch and was able to leave it attached to my book and go to bed. I feel this could make a perfect gift for a friend whose a nighttime reader!

> 3 dayI have seen a lot of reviews saying that this light is super bright to the point that I was expecting this thing to be like a floodlight and have many thousands of lumens behind it. The truth is that this light is perfectly equipped for reading. It isnt especially bright though it probably would be better designed if it has a dimmer so people could adjust it to their liking and conserve more battery power. You can cycle through the light colors which is nice but the brightness is the same for all pretty much. Not a problem for me, as the light is right in the middle for brightness in my opinion. Not too bright, not too dim. For $8 (what I paid) I cant say too much bad about this light because it is just a good little light! Very light and flexible, clips onto most anything and has a decent battery life. Could have a bigger battery in my opinion but for what it is and where it is priced I think this light is perfectly fine for most situations.
