> 3 dayThis engraving tip installed in my Maker 3 with zero problems, just like the brand items do. I had in mind to engrave an acrylic plaque and then light it from below to illuminate the design. It worked perfectly. I had no problems adjusting for the thickness of the acrylic. I moved on to engrave a tag for my cat and, again I had zero problems. I know there are people who engrave glass with this but I am reluctant to try it. I have some mirror blanks and maybe one day Ill work up the courage but for now, its doing the acrylic and aluminum blanks that I need it to do. Would 100% buy again.

> 3 daySomehow Ive ended up keeping the Explore Air 2 that I had planned on selling. Now I have two Cricut cutting machines with the tools and accessories for one. This engraving tip with its quick swap housing is part of my plan to change that situation. The housing included with this tip fits my Cricut Maker just as if it were original equipment. Im waiting for the materials that I want to engrave, so I havent tried the tip yet. However, based on the quality, fit, and function of the housing, I have no reason to expect that it be anything less than a great tool.
