> 24 hourI used 2 of these so far to replace existing recessed lights that were too much of spotlights where we wanted more of a spread. I disconnected the old ones and just shoved them aside, then attached up the existing wiring to the new ones. Carefully cut out the hole with a hand drywall saw, and they pressed up in really nicely. The spring clips were surprisingly substantial. They provide really nice light, I like the lower temperature, 2700K. Coupled with the Lutron AVCL-153P and they work flawlessly, nice smooth range from full bright to nice and dim with no flickering or buzzing anywhere.

> 24 hourI bought 20 of these for the house Im building right now, so cant comment on how well they work over time, but I am pretty impressed with the overall look and feel of these for the price. I contacted support about extension cables for the low voltage side thinking I would need to remote the controllers but they dont have any extensions and couldnt help me find them. The best they could do was tell me it was a two pin connector and draw a little sketch showing what the connector looks like (tried to get info before they arrived). But the connector is not what they described! Its actually a 3 pin connector and uses tiny little pins. I searched every cable I could find on Amazon and couldnt find the right one, but turned out I didnt really need them. Here are a couple of things youll want to get if you buy these to install yourself. If you are installing in drywall or wood, then this hole saw works great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LGKR22L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I want these to mount in the eaves of my house outside which is Hardie board, so this saw doesnt work, so I found this carbide hole saw that worked perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GVICHI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I am doing all smart switches with dimmers, so I bought one of the Kasa smart dimmer/switch with the features I wanted and hooked it up to test it with these lights. This one appears to work very well with no flickering: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HGSCXB6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Im optimistic and will update in a few weeks when the house is finished and I can get them all installed and working.

> 24 hourDont be afraid! There are several youtube videos about these lights, how to install them and how to position them in ceilings for maximum brightness. I had 3 lights mounted installed and turned on in about an hour with very minimal effort. Youll need 16/2 wire for chaining the lights together but installation is a real breeze. Theyre so thin that even beneath a wooden beam they still fit into the drywall. Will buy more when the time comes, theyre quick snap to branch off existing light fixtures.

> 24 hourThese lights are awesome. Although they recommend spacing of 4’ , 5-6’ works well. 4’ would be too bright.
