This is a backpack and leash combination. It also came with a hand strap to make sure your toddler is secured to you. You can strap the wrist leash from adult to child, or you can attach the leash part to the backpack and have control over the child that way. I really like this leash backpack. I can put my toddler bottle inside her pack, snacks, keys and off we go. It comes with a braided leash and a swirly stretchy bracelet leash. You can attach bracelets to your wrists or you can connect leash to the backpack. The backpack is padded and comfortable and it also has a chest strap so the child cannot remove it on their own.

So adorable and my 2 year old loves it. Feels well made and she loves owls so that is a plus!
