> 24 hourThe excellent: horizontal keystone control, all the way down to the ability to pick one corner at a time and adjust it independently of all other corners on the image. This feature allows you to put the projector pretty much anywhere you want and still get a rectangular image. That can make a huge difference for a lot of people, depending on the furniture arrangement of the room youll be watching in. The good: Pretty good image quality, but not nearly as good as the Optoma projector I replaced this one with

> 24 hourI purchased this projector to replace my Toshiba t-45 (DLP), I picked this because a friend of mine had the 5200 model and was very happy, after signing up for the free $50 for applying for the Amazon Gift card, this projector and a few long HDMI cords came out to around $450. I was shocked at the price since my DLP (non-HD) projetor was around $800 years ago. Since I was replacing a projector, I took this thing out of the box, mounted it, ran the HDMI cable and was watching HD TV from my receiver and PS3 within a few minutes. The corner feature is great to get a good picture very quickly and the picture was crystal clear. I had to have my basement completely pitch black to watch a movie or game, now I can have a good amount of lighting without hurting the picture. For me that wasnt a big deal, but with a 3 year old who loves to run it was a dangerous thing! This thing fires up quickly and looks fantastic, I now have 2 projectors in my basement for Sunday Football, and for the cost, the Epson EX5210 is your best bet! You wont regret it!

> 24 hourThis, for the $449 Amazon price the day it was released is a 5 star projector. Very quiet fan. Quick on and off (instant off). Excellent brightness. Colors decent out of the box with no real fiddling. My only complaint is that the zoom limits are pretty tight. I find that my old Sony from many years back had better zoom range, so that I could have the projector further from the screen. This little guy needs to be close, as I cant make the image small enough. Zoom on the other end it ample, but if you are in a room where the projector must be far from the screen, watch out. That could be the one fatal flaw for this one. I got this because of the easy HDMI connection to show 1080p inputs (scaled the the native resolution of the projector, of course). It is great in this regard. It is also fine for me as a data projector in 1024x768 (native resolution). I recommend highly for the current (Feb 2012) $449 Amazon price. If I had to pay the full list price, I might consider others - like the Epson 1920x1080 native projectors. For the price difference at the low price for the EX5210, it is a no brainer to go with the EX series.

> 24 hourI bought this projector in April of 2013. I was a little worried but decided to buy online and try it out. I had used a projector I got for free for about a year prior that had similar specs, ended up doing a lot of research at projectorcentral.com, great site by the way. I use this projector for movies/gaming, I have both a PS3 and an XBOX 360, as well as a MacBook Pro I hook up through the HDMI port. Great quality, great graphics, doesnt heat up really bad, great features. I have my projector about 11-12 feet away from my wall and it has about an 8 foot screen and thats the smallest it will get. Great buy, great price. Only two things I could suggest improvement on: 1. It shipped through some third party company I cant remember the name of, they gave me an 8 hour window of delivery which was extremely frustrating.... 2. It cools down really fast which makes me worry a bit its not getting good cool down time, like 15 second cool down while most others take at least a minute. Other than that I recommend it to anyone who is interested!

> 24 hourI used this for the first time this weekend. It worked OK. It is supposed to be for a PC or a Mac. it was easy to use with the PC but harder to figure out for my computer a Mac. The instructions that came with it are on a disk so if you are trying to use it, you have to turn off the powerpoint to get to the disk for the instructions, then turn off the instructions to go back to try it....really a pretty crazy system. Written instructions would have been a life saver. We happened to have two computers there at my presentation so my husband was able to put the disk in his computer and then figure out what to do on my mac. It was quite nerve racking when we were 15 min. from when I was to start presenting. It worked fine at home when we tested it.

> 24 hourI at first connected my cable box to the EX5210 projector via the S-video connection and was a little concerned since the projected picture was not quite as good as from the same S-video connection on my 6 year old ViewSonic LCD projector. I then connected the EX5210 to my cable box via an HDMI cable. WOW, the projected image was now as crisp, clear, and bright as most flat screen TVs that I have seen in stores. Even though the EX5210 is not a true HD projector, I cant imagine a better picture than this projector produces on my white pull down movie screen. I find the picture to be excellent with the projector in Eco mode which extends the life of the bulb. The speaker of this projector is much better than my previous projector but I have chosen to run the sound through my surround system. My projector is used primarily for watching college and professional level sports and it makes the viewer feel as though though they are at the sporting event. I would highly recommend this projector for such cable TV viewing but only if you are able to connect via the HDMI input. I also connected my laptop to the EX5210 and found the projected computer image to be excellent as well.

> 24 houri bought this one for our smaller room , with a 70 in screen and the next model up with a 105in screen , btw i own a hotel and this thing is used from 6-9pm mon-fri for classes we host and then usually one or the other for our guests who usually reserve one for a few hours earlier in the day whether it be to watch hd movies or connect and stream from their laptop or even sometimes kids playing xbox ... the best part is you connect whatever and it just starts , easy to use controls , speakers which are efficient enough already built in , can connect others also ... to be simple its plug and play and thats what you need when so many people of different walks of life are using them for different reasons... the colors are CRAZY good , its light and comes with a bag so we pack it up and put it behind our front desk til request the next morning , came with a bunch of extra stuff , just bought an hd cable and im good to go. This is GOOD!!! foreal , also the one up model is WAYYY better if you have an extra $150 to spend. Came 3 days after order with the free shipping which said 5-7 days ... freaking amazing... i hope this comment doesnt jinx its performance or it in general , i just always read comments from other buyers and this is the first one i am posting ... this is how good it is. > 24 hourI bought this projector for work (I am a mural artist) to project images into the wall for me to trace- but soon found myself watching movie after movie at home in my new theatre! (I taped up a white bed sheet over my wall as a makeshift screen- works well!) -The setup is easy and only takes minutes. So far Ive connected it to my macbook pro (its like having a second monitor where you can drag things from one screen to the other) and my PS3 using HDMI. -The sound system on the machine is very weak (kind of expected) and should be used as backup or when traveling, but you can easily connect an external sound system through a laptop or some AV cables (be creative). -The quality is crisp (adjustable to your liking)- though I think it gets slightly pixelated when projecting from more than 25 ft away (small words become a bit choppy) ...i could be using it wrong though. -The projection is very bright and can be clearly seen even with the lights on (which makes it great for on-the-job). -Its small and light, and comes with a nice carrying case that makes is easy to pack up n move around. -You can adjust the angles and other things very quickly with the buttons either on the machine or the remote control it comes with. -The fan gets rather HOT! Im wondering if it may be getting too hot sometimes? Although it does have a CAUTION: HOT label right on top. So use in well conditioned areas- it WILL heat up a small room! -Id highly recommend this product. Im sure there are better, more crisp and clear ones out there ($$$), but this one still exceeded my expectations.

> 24 hourThe EX5210 has given the image quality, minimal noise and excellent features it has promised. I found the HDMI connection a great way to show YouTube videos in class without the lag you may see just using the USB or traditional pin plug. The remote control works as a mouse as promised. You have full control over the projector. The challenge Ive had was selecting the source for sound when I use external speakers I would normally plug into the sound puka on the netbook or laptop. The projector appears to take the sound control away from the user, but it can be wrestled back. Ive purchased an adaptor to permit the projector the control is seems to need so badly. Image quality is great, being XGA and the ability to select the projection screen type (blackboard/whiteboard, professonal screet, etc.) is a good feature. So far quite happy with the projector. Ive used it with an older Dell Inspiron 630M and it is partnered with an ACER Aspire One 722 netbook. The Acer has an HDMI port, the Dell does not. Thus far I have used it in a small conference room with students sitting next to the projector and there was no complaint of noise, heat or intrusion.
