Years ago I found out somehow that this specific product can be used on virtually anyone or anything and is not only soothing but an amazing antimicrobial. To my knowledge its good for so many things like fleas, ringworm, hot spots and all sorts of skin issues. I am currently using it for our labradoodle puppy who seems to be slightly allergic to fleas. It smells amazing very nice and the itching has subsided substantially. P.s. we live in florida where it has been over 90 degrees consistently since we got the little guy ... so its definitely been a life saver. Can be used on humans too!!!
