Etimo Crochet Hook, Size 9/5.50mm

I have been using Clover Amour Crochet hooks, which I loved, but kept hearing how good the Tulip Etimo hooks were. So I bought this to try it out. I cant say enough good things about this hook. It is better than the Clover Amour, and those are pretty darn good. The Etimo slips through the acryllic yarn like butter. I have several brands of hooks, and will definitely be replacing them gradually over time with the Tulip Etimo Reds.

Absolutely gorgeous hook. This is my new favorite hook to work with as it is way more comfortable than the standard Boye set I usually use. I wish I had discovered these ages ago!

Lightweight, comfortable, and smooth. Yarn slides effortlessly. My dog ate my first one and using another hook while I waited for this replacement made me appreciate it even more.

Very comfortable to hold. The soft handle makes it easy on the hand. A bit pricey.

Crochet hook is light and comfortable. I just wish the indicator for the size of the hook was embossed not just a label.

I have the Tulip Etimo hooks with pink and gray handles and love them and thought there would never be a better hook until I got the Red - this is hands down the best hook I have ever owned. I bought sizes 5.0 and 5.5 and just ordered the entire set. The glide right along and feather light. I give them the highest rating of any hook, even better than my Furls. My hands never cramped. Give them a try, you will not regret it!

I really wanted to like this needle. Everyone seems to love the handles and this brand seems to be well liked. But the hook is not deep enough and I cant get it to consistently snag the yarn. As you can see in the picture, there looks like an excess of metal between the hook and the neck..like it didnt form properly . Very disappointing
