EuroSCHIRM Light Trek Automatic Folding Umbrella, Compact, Ultra-light weight, 38”

It actually feels substantial, yet lightweight. The first umbrella Ive ever bought that I will be legitimately upset about if I lose it. I love the carrying case. Compass is pointless, though. Wish it had just been left out.

My Light Trek umbrella is still going after three years. I live in a city where the weather changes very quickly and so I always need to carry this umbrella in my bag during autumn, winter and spring. My city also gets very windy. This umbrella has stood the test of time and of wild weather. If the wind is bit too wild - then the umbrella might turn inside out but it has never broken. I have also taken the umbrella with me on various overseas trips. The size of the umbrella is perfect for my shoulder bags. I originally bought a Blunt XS but it wouldnt fit in my shoulder bags so I had to sell it. Thats how I ended up with this amazing umbrella. It is definitely worth it.

I bought the silver one, there were several colors to choose from when I bought it, but it says that the silver one gives extra protection from the sun, so thats the one I bought. It is lightweight, I use it about two hours under the sun, and my arm doesnt hurt because of carrying it. I also used it under the rain and I didnt get wet. Even though there was some wind, it didnt brake. It is compact, I pack it in my back pack in the medium size pocket and it fits very well. I just push one button with my thumb, and it opens fully, I push the same button again and it closes, then I just wrap it and lower it to the compact position, it is easy to use. The close position measures about 12 inches long and about 1 3/4 inches wide.

By way of feedback: 1. I was really impressed by how quickly the umbrella arrived, two days, really quickly. 2. The box was kind of large for an umbrella, a smaller box would have been more green and save some. 3. I thought it would be black but the one I got was green. I would have preferred black but it not worth the hassle to return it for a black one. I dont recall an option for selecting the color but maybe I missed it. If its not there they should have a way for customers to select the color. 4. I have not used this umbrella in a rain storm yet but I was really impressed at how well it was constructed. Hopefully it will be as strong as it looks. Thank you, Len

Small enough to fit in the side/drink pocket on my backpack, very lightweight, and incredibly strong. Ive used this several times in very windy conditions and it doesnt turn inside out.

Works great. Is small and perfect for fitting in me briefcase and when it rains waiting for the bus. its construction looks like a well made unit. I expect it to last a really long time.

I normally hate umbrellas, but this thing is awesome, its light weight and small. And as another reviewer mentioned before, I recommend getting a color other than black so no one walks out with your umbrella.

Piece of junk, wind kicked up and damaged the inside, it is fairly useless now, and this happened the first time I used it.
