> 24 hourI have an Apple, HomeKit Smart Home, with a zillion of these smart plugs, and I love them! They work flawlessly for me.

> 24 hourThese are the only HomeKit smart plugs that are always connected to HomeKit, and they boast support for thread and energy monitoring. As far as I know, these are the only plugs with these three features: HomeKit, Energy Monitoring & Thread support! I’ve tried and returned brands from Kasa, SwitchBot and 2 generic brands as all of them constantly were “not responding” and were missing thread support. Eve plugs are easily 2X the price of any other HomeKit smart plug, but turns out they are worth it. I now have a price watcher looking for sales!

> 24 hourI wanted to use my fairy lights with apple HomeKit (nothing more annoying than having to physically plug and unplug the lights to turn them on/off) and these smart plugs make that possible. SUPER easy to set up, literally all I had to do was scan the barcode in my home app, pick the room it’s in, and give it a name and it was working instantly. I do want to note that I have a Thread network in my home, and these are Thread devices so they respond instantaneously. I’m not sure how well they work/how fast they respond without thread (i.e. just on Bluetooth), and I also can’t speak to how they work with Alexa or Google home, but if you use apple HomeKit and have a thread compatible HomeKit hub (either a HomePod or Apple TV 4K) then you NEED to get these. It can be harder to find good accessories for HomeKit than Alexa/Google, so these are a must have because they’re tried and true.

> 24 hourI was looking for some new smart plugs to replace my headache inducing WeMo plugs, I had the smaller newer version as well as the older bulkier versions and they were constantly going offline and would require a hard reset and resetting up in the app/HomeKit constantly. I finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase these which were admittedly quite a bit more pricey but after using them for about 6 months I have only had them pop offline once, and was easily fixed by just unplugging and replugging it in and haven’t had an issue since, they are quick to respond to my HomeKit requests and the Eve app is great as it will pull in all the accessories you currently have as well from other brands. The power monitoring (watt/power draw) is sluggish and oftentimes won’t actually show how much power is being pulled from the plug but that’s a minor detail as it will show up eventually. If you are wanting a good smart plug that you won’t have to hassle with these are great.

> 24 hourLove the Eve Energy plugs look, but they are slow to respond Everytime I switch them on & off. Would be great to see Eve fix the latency issues.

> 24 hourAlthough pricy, this device is a breeze to install. I purchased it because it supports thread, and works flawlessly in the Apple HomeKit. I can control the outlets with my phone, iPad, or Mac, and they work practically instantaneously. Eve has you download their app to initialize these outlets. Basically you click to add the device, scan the bar code image on the side of the device, plug it in, and the app will add it to your house. A few seconds later the device is up and running. Once connected through the Eve app, they show up automatically in the Apple HomeKit in the designated room. Once installed, you can use your phone or tablet to turn the switch on or off, or set up a schedule of operation. Easy to install and use. Although it is a little pricy at $40 per plug, it does work flawlessly.

> 24 hourSo much better than the Wemo I was using. These work even after a power flicker or a phone update. You can pretty much set these and forget about them, they just work.

> 24 hourIve bought TP-Link Kasa and Wemo Thread smart plugs but I recommend Eve Energy over TP-Link and Wemo especially if you have a HomeKit hub that supports the Thread standard. The Kasa smart plugs for HomeKit are excellent and very stable. Kasa/Tapo devices are fine if you dont mind having smart plugs on your WiFi network. Eve Energys use of the Thread standard gets these devices off the WiFi and creates its own mesh network that gets better as you add devices. Eve Energys Thread implementation is much better than Belkins Wemo smart plugs. Plus the Eve app for iOS can be used as an overlay for Apples Home.app. The Eve.app also provides information on the Thread network status (which Home.app does not) as well as updating device firmware.

> 24 hourThe first Eve Energy plug connected fine and is working as it should. I’ve tried many, many times to get the second to connect — following the trouble shooting guides from Eve Home website. I just cannot get it to connect and therefore it is not working. I will try again, but it’s very frustrating. Update 6/6/23 Eve Home tech support has agreed to send me a replacement for the non functional unit. They were a little slow in response, but inevitably agreed to send a replacement. I’ll boost my rating as soon as I get a functional product! Currently 4 stars, and I’m feeling good about the product.
