> 3 day***Update> After using this carseat (as grandmas) for 6 months, it was time to wash thecover and straps, and adjust the shoulder height, which since the 5 point system is being used, did require it to be removed from the car. This was not the first time ive had to take it in/out of car, but every time the LATCH SYSTEM has stayed tight. The car seat washed and dried nicely looking like new when it came out. ~Reminder to parents if drying in drier use low temp so not to melt plastic clips, this did not happen with this carseat, but with grandaughters main seat (different brand/style) ~ It went back together easily (if you cant remember how the straps go, take a picture before) and back in the car with LATCH. looks new again. ***I bought this lower priced harnessed booster for my car to use for my 18month old granddaughter that I watch 4days a week. I was glad that even at the lower price point Evenflo has continued to design a quality, comfortabe and safe booster seat. After it arrived at my house I took it out of the box and put the cup holders on (each screw in with one included screw) and set it on the car seat to transport it to granddaughters house. It sat so nicely, i knew once i had fitted her in (check shoulder strap height and such) it would fit very securly in my car. Installing with the included latch system was easy and a tight fit. Granddaughter is very comfortable in seat, and is lots of growing room for her over the next 4-5years (assuming it is never used in an accident, since you must ALWAYS replace with new then). Cover seems sturdy and looks to be easily removed for washing (seat would need to be uninstalled, then reinstalled since it is used with harness).

> 3 dayI bought this car seat for my 3 year old to take on a trip. We were flying and I didnt want to risk damaging her every day car seat in checked luggage. This car seat held up well in flight and did the job. It was easy to install and she was able to buckle in by herself which she liked. It is also more lightweight than our normal car seat making it easier to carry in an airport. It didnt look super comfy and it sits up pretty straight. When she fell asleep, it didnt look comfortable at all. I wouldnt want to use this on long drives just for that reason, but we had no other issues with the seat in general. It was a good buy for the price.

> 3 dayWorks well, nice and adjustable as they grow. Only thing I don’t like is how straight the back is. Not very comfy when they fall asleep.

Greater than one weekSo we bought this one, and an COSCO 2-in-1 Finale of the same type of Booster. Both are ridiculously difficult to get a solid snug fit on install. I have to kneel on the seat and push my weight (and Im a big dude) just to be able to get it tight enough to be acceptable, as all adjustment straps on both of the boosters we own do not allow for a firm tightening. Ok ... So thats one issue... The other is that the 4/5-point harness for the little one is also a pita to tighten... So even when youre cranking on the strap it barely gets snug. Based on the user guides the seat is installed and adjusted within tolerance... But Its not a very comforting feeling when the seat doesnt feel secure, nor the harness straps. Ive not used either as a belted booster yet... Perhaps theyll preform better in that way. If its relevant to anyone both seats were swapped between our 07 Forester and 08 Outback, yielding the same results regardless of which seat in which car,. I dont really want to complain as the rest of the product seems to have good workmanship... But I feel like I cant say anything without mentioning these foibles. I hope this helps someone somehow. EDIT 3/16/22: While this model was ok as a belted booster, we ultimately ended up getting a basic seatpad style booster for simplicity for the wifes car. Ive kept the COSCO in my car and it performs well as a belted booster, no complaints.

> 3 dayHighly recommended as a safe, economical BACK-UP car seat for shorter trips. We have to fly to visit my parents, and after two trips hauling the kids carseats, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a set of seats to leave at the Grandparents house. Our daily seats are Diono Radians and Britax Boulevards which are substantially more expensive. I wasnt willing to pay that much for seats that would be used 1-2x per year, but didnt want to sacrifice safety. I also wanted something that would last a while, which these seats offered by transitioning to boosters. The safety reviews on these were surprisingly good. The kids liked the seats just fine for short trips. We took one 4 hour drive where our 2 year old just couldnt get comfortable and fall asleep. I think this is because the entry holes for the leg straps arent far enough away from the legs and cinching the belt to where it needed to be meant cinching the straps pretty tight against his legs. Honestly, hopefully they fix this when they update this model - I imagine it would be pretty easy and would make the seat more comfortable. The padding wasnt as thick as the Diono and the Britax, but for less than 1/3 the price, I didnt expect it to be. PROS -Price - you cant beat it -5 pt harness/booster. While as one reviewer points out it doesnt have the highest weight limit for the 5 pt harness, it does afford the longest use by 5 pt harness/booster for its price - by far. - Pretty slender seat - not too bulky. -My parents installed them no problem - not bad for not installing a carseat in about 30 years. I definitely cant say the same for the Diono! CONS -Leg straps were uncomfortable. -Both of our kids ended up yanking the small head pillow off, which leads me to believe it didnt feel great either. -Straps could get twisted in the buckles easier than with our other seats, I think because they are more narrow. All in all, for the money, totally worth it and recommend the seat as a BACK UP carseat. Based on comfort, I would not recommend this as a daily seat.

> 3 dayMy son rode from TN to CA with zero complaints in this thing. It’s very easy to install and the harness works great. I wish it was cushier but for the price, if you have an easy going kid, this is great. I’d buy it again.
