10-06-2025I purchased this PSU in September of 2018. Its 10 year warranty was a big selling point to me. Recently, after only 1 1/2 years, I began experiencing random reboots. Although the voltages were fine when measured by a power supply tester, the reboots occurred while the PSU was under load. The RMA process was somewhat confusing and tedious, and Im not thrilled at having to pay for shipping a defective unit across the country. Hopefully, EVGA replaces the power supply without incident when it arrives at their facility.

> 3 dayFor who ever had a G2 and bought G3, listen G3 cables are not compatible with the G2. but G2 cables are compatible with G3. I had tested it. I still prefered my G2 because of fan noise was less.

> 3 dayMy computer BIOS says its running, and everything is pulling power; but I cant hear it (I know it is running if my computer is powered; but fans make noise) I really dont see the advantage of modular: it has just as many cords to plug in, so why not just hide the extra plugs around. Down the line if you decide you need to add in another cord it is difficult to plug into the power supply with all the components fastened in the case.

> 3 dayI installed the power supply in a new build, and installed 4 SATA drives for storage. I couldnt figure out why they werent recognized by ANYTHING... I took a 5th SATA drive out of another system (since I knew it worked) and plugged it in, NOTHING... Hooked up an old power supply and still didnt recognize the drives. Connected yet ANOTHER drive, while running on my old power supply and it fired right now. Turned out this brand new power supply fried the first 4, then the 5th that I used for testing. This sucks, as there is no recourse.
