This is a really robust power supply. This is also my first EVGA product in a long time. I switched over from an Antec power supply this fall. Sadly the power supply I received worked well for a month and started making a loud buzzing noise that is beyond cool whine (which I am used to). I am hoping customer support sees this and can help.

This may have been this particular item. But no matter what, ECO mode on or off, the fan ramps up to 100% soon as theres a game window open. For days I thought it was my case fans but upon further inspection, lo and behold its the power supply. Toms hardware seem to reviewed EVGA SuperNova G5 and came to the same conclusion its pretty much one of the loudest PSUs out there. Needless to say I returned it and hope you guys dont make the same mistake I did.

Never buy anything from this brand the 1000w G5 Supernova killed my pc entirely right out of the box. My PC was my life. EVGA is definitely getting sued.

Good features, but the annoying thing is the weird/electric noise coming from the inside when running certain applications and my build is mid range nothing fancy or intended for stressful tasks,i have the 650 watts, which is way more than enough for my everyday use.Never had a problem like this before, i will put my money in other brands for future builds,i dont recommend this brand.

Its quiet, even on eco mode. This is a high quality psu, and you do not want to cheap out on it when building any pc with expensive components. I have this PSU for my Ryzen 7 3700x and EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra, and it performs great. Would recommend this!

Nice small psu with easy to work with flat cables.

Good and Quite power supply cords were easy to use, labeled a bit weird for a first time CPU builder like myself but I managed

Sadly Ive been through FIVE different motherboards (MB) now, all with different failures- and still trying. This PSU though, solid and trustworthy through every MB fail (verified via my PSU tester). It even picked up a MB voltage overload on my old case USB 2.0 front panel (not unexpected given modern USB 3.1 protocol). Prevented the MB from starting up until I disconnected the front panel. Probably saved me a few hundred dollars the first time, well worth its price tag. 750w seems to be the new minimum too. Not just 750w total, but what can be delivered via a single cable (which also individually increases via the total rating). Funny since modern PCs consume less power than they did 10 years ago- but whatever because this PSU works reliably.

Whines under load. Ridiculous quality control.

The product voltage arrange is 120V.
