Many power supplies have PCI-E cables with splitters on the end so that you can power a graphics card that requires two plugs with a single cable. However, with the more modern power hungry graphics cards (looking at you Nvidia 30 series), it is highly advised to use two separate PCI-E cables. Which leaves the split cables dangling from the graphics card (...barf). Having multiple PCI-E cables with a single connector makes your build look much nicer.

Very happy with this psu it barely makes any noise and it’s able to handle all of my components without any worry

Easy to install, cords fully modular and well sleeved, quiet and a great enough value I bought two.

Im using a couple of these to power some ASIC crypto miners (2 Mini DOGE and 2 Futurebit BTC). Theyre basically silent, efficient, and have a 10 year warranty. The cable kit they come with is massive overkill for my use case, but it will be good to have should I decide to consolidate into a larger PSU and sell the 2 650 Watt units or use them in a PC build.

Got this PSU on sale in the 650W Gold spec for total of 49 dollars. This unit usually sells for over $100 and is on the A tier of power supplies on the LTT website. It comes with solid black cables that look nice inside of my case. It also came with 3-4 extra SATA cables as well as an extra CPU cable in case your mobo and CPU combo required the 12 pin config. If you are wondering if this is the PSU for you- it is. Just get it. You will not regret it.

My Thermaltake 850w died after only a bit over 1 month, that was the first ever for any PSU I had ever installed. The MB cable wont put out power and the CPU port is dead. My problem was, my mobo needs 2 4+4 CPU plug (Although just plug one in worked, but I dont like to take the risk, and a lot of PSU have only 1 or more expensive for the ones that have 2.
