> 24 hourI picked this wire to have on hand. I ended up using it mostly to repair some seriously damaged wires between my F150 starter and the battery. The previous owner had a battery acid leak at some point and Id been putting bandaid fixes on it for a while. I put some loom over it, taped it up, and used some nice copper lugs to run new lines. The gauge is complete overkill for this to be sure, but this wire was really nice to work with. I was able to route it where I needed it with no hassles. Despite the beefier gauge, it was much easier to deal with than the OEM wire. Its real copper wire, not copper clad aluminum. Im not certain how well itll hold up to how Ive used it, but I think the use of dielectric grease, generous heat shrink, and the loom should keep this repair going for a long time without issues. Ill definitely be buying more to have on hand, though in a smaller gauge. For those asking if you can use this for the Big 3 (or Big 4) the answer is yes. This is probably a good amount of wire for that upgrade in most installs. Look into what lugs youll need for where your wiring ends though. I ended a bit big on my lugs and ended up having to add some washers to ensure better connection at the terminals.
