Ive had this for 2 years now and honestly the glow should not be its selling point. Even brand new it only lasted 20 minutes. Now 2 years later the glow is hardly noticeable in a dark room and lasts barely 5 minutes. What I DO like about this dome fixture is the 10 inch base and the high build quality. This is the only dome fixture to survive 3 moves in the last 2 years and 14 hour day cycles. Its been bumped, dropped, stuffed in boxes, and it still works. My other reptiles have the smaller 8.5 inch deep domes and theyve destroyed bulb after bulb because the dome is too deep with too few air vents that the bulb overheats and shuts itself off. Never had that problem with this dome. Ill be replacing all my fixtures with this. Trust me, its worth the price.

This lamp holder broke very soon after I bought it. I contacted the seller to replace it but apparently its down to Exoterra. I contacted Exoterra and they gave me a load of rubbish about how I would have to return it and wait for them to have it tested and diagnosed etc before deciding if its the users fault or a faulty holder. I couldnt wait months for another to be sent out because I needed it for my lizard, do they just expect you to leave your animals without a bulb while they decide if their item is any good?! Ended up buying an Arcadia one instead, they offer a much better returns/replacement service, great warranty and dont treat you like a criminal when their items are faulty. I will never buy Exoterra products again after this experience.

Great build quality, but could not handle a 150w ceramic heat emitter in the long run. Didnt make it a year, but was still far and away the best heat lamp Ive used so far. I wish they made an aluminum reflector version available for higher wattage CHEs. By the way, the 1 year warranty is a total sham. If you try to call exoterras listed support number itll reroute you to an array of random spam places.

Le projecteur est efficace et très maniable avec ses différentes rotules. La pince dattache est un peu glissante sur le plastic il vous faudra prévoir un peu de grip sur cette surface (adhésif par exemple). Cest dommage un serrage à vis aurait été plus pratique.
