CHERRY PINK ONLY: Ive bought a few of these shells before and havent had any issues. The clear pink one unfortunately has a factory defect Ive received on my first that I purchased and a replacement that was sent out. The issue is, that where the share button is, during manufacturing the mold was incorrect. When installed, the share button extends out further than it should. I cannot recommend the Cherry Pink variant until they fix their current stock. I have reached out to eXtremeRate and they said this is an issue with ALL their current stock (April 2021). I dont know when they will have a new batch, but they only offered to compensate $5 for my troubles and suggested I try installing it again. Needless to say, Ive returned the item again through Amazon for a full refund.

Got one set to make a his and hers controller that matches my joycons. My advice would be to use your own screwdriver for all screw other than the first two (the provided one is good for those). And make sure you squeeze the controller as you reassemble it so that everything is tightly sealed. The first time I did it things ended up a little loose and uneven but after redoing and squeezing as i tightened, it came out 99% perfect.

I got the atomic purple shell which is pretty cool but there is a black plastic piece on the inside that isnt replaced. It makes the purple much darker than its joy con counterpart. Which is what cost it a star.

It looks really nice on. If there’s anything I’d suggest, is inspecting the item fully before applying. Through mid application, I noticed the shell had scuffs inside already before putting it on my controller, so I decided to just bite the bullet & keep it despite the scuffs. I didn’t want to have disassemble it again, wait, & reassemble + return. Anyway, aside that, it looks pretty cool, & I totally think you should swap your pro controller shell.

Very easy to install. Be aware that if you get done and you see that gap in the middle back part where the LEDs are, its because the little peg that goes into the divot under the battery is a little long. Sand it down carefully with a nail file and it should fit fine!

It seems to work as planned, but I was hoping for a slightly more vibrant blue. It may be my replacement buttons—they’re obviously much brighter and colorful and could detract from the color of the plate—but I noticed upon arrival and before installation that the color was kind of drab.

It gives you the awesome 90’s vibe when Nintendo was dropping atomic purple on their consoles. Very easy to install. Forewarning the stock screws you have to take off the controller are a pain in the ass, take your time disassembling it but the shell it’s self is very easy to put together.
