eXtremeRate Clear Atomic Puple Faceplate Backplate Handles for Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, DIY Replacement Grip Housing Shell Cover for Nintendo Switch Pro - Controller NOT Included

CHERRY PINK ONLY: Ive bought a few of these shells before and havent had any issues. The clear pink one unfortunately has a factory defect Ive received on my first that I purchased and a replacement that was sent out. The issue is, that where the share button is, during manufacturing the mold was incorrect. When installed, the share button extends out further than it should. I cannot recommend the Cherry Pink variant until they fix their current stock. I have reached out to eXtremeRate and they said this is an issue with ALL their current stock (April 2021). I dont know when they will have a new batch, but they only offered to compensate $5 for my troubles and suggested I try installing it again. Needless to say, Ive returned the item again through Amazon for a full refund.

Love the look of the translucent shells, but wish eXtremeRate offered a neon translucent green shell for the pro controllers to match the switch console shell variant. This translucent green is nice, just a fair bit darker than the translucent neon green. Quality of the plastic is similar to the original Nintendo shell and all seams line up perfectly. Also installed the DTFS pro controller LED mod and definitely looks great but does slightly reduce battery life obviously. Going to order the atomic purple next!

I got the atomic purple shell which is pretty cool but there is a black plastic piece on the inside that isnt replaced. It makes the purple much darker than its joy con counterpart. Which is what cost it a star.

Bought 1 for the younger brother and another for the nephew and I gotta say they look amazing! ended up just using the body on the controllers for them which looks nicer to me and even used the grips from their kits on my controller to give mine some personality too.

Easy to install! Only complaint is that it doesnt come with a clear center piece of plastic, which would have made this look outstanding.

Good replacement shell for the Switch Pro controller. Pieces fit together nicely with the existing parts even if you dont use all of them. Plastic feels solid. I kept the original black grips on my controller but thats preference.

It was pretty nice. I didnt bother with the screwdriver it came with and used my electronics repair kit from ifixit and that made it way easier. I also added buttons, this didnt come with the white buttons and joy sticks, but together the final effect is very cool. I bought a second one too (the white with mint green and baby blue) and love them both. Made a small mistake and screwed one screw too deep but otherwise it was pretty simple to do

Perfect switch pro controller shell, incredibly simple installation with the ribbon cable attachment being the only part that is remotely a hassle. Some parts edges could probably do with a little bit of sanding down but they are fine as is and far from an issue. Overall, looks great and feels great.
