It is bright but the hinge in the back is broken after a few uses. I just tighten thr screw in the back . It still works

I tend to carry small flashlights in my vehicles which helps without having the need to carry something big and bulky. The only bad thing is that these small flashlights are not bright enough. Ordered this light as I liked the idea of not worrying about carrying batteries or charging. The aluminum feels very sturdy and does hold where on the car with no problem. Also does provide enough light, way better than my small flashlights. This is a big plus for me. Also, that mostly a lot of modern cars have multiple cigarette lighters, I am not tied to one source of power. This allows me to freely use it around any area of the car. The cord does stretch and allows me to reach a bit further if need to. Again, no need to stretch the car as my vehicle has multiple cigarette lighter connections. Good light for quick and easy use. Not portable as it will need some type of power source but definitely can be used around the car.

Got this to use as a work light for when I need to be able to light up a work area at night. Didnt seem to project light very far, but it has a very good flood pattern. Seems perfect for any emergency auto repairs, as you can stick it where you need it and have plenty of light to see what youre doing. Seems well made, and the base sticks firmly to metal surfaces good.

Very good lamp, bright that you cant stare into it. Metal enclosyre. Comes with a plug for car lighter socket. Plug has an On/Off switch. Cord is of decent size. The only improvement/wish that I can think about would be that I can use it as a plug-in into socket 120 VAC socket. This would allow it to be used for garage work on a car with disconnected battery or for extended time. Recommended athough it is not cheap.

When its dark out and you need to finish up working under the hood of the car or need a basic flood light to get stuff loaded on to the bed of your truck and just need a little bit of light to finish up this work light does the job. It has a strong magnetic base that has a soft rubber bottom so you dont scratch the paint when putting it on or taking it off. The light is adjustable but you will need an Allen key to loosen up the adjustment screws that is not included. It does have a switch on the cigarette lighter plug that is a nice touch and very convenient for when you are done but dont want to take the light off just yet but do want to turn it off. You can do so without unplugging it and just press the on/off button. Overall this a nice addition to my vehicle and I keep it in the back for when I need it.

For some reason I thought this closed when not in use. Not the case. The Aluminum alloy shell is strong with a cord that stretches pretty far. Will reach around enough to work on engine compartment in a emergency or the rear of vehicle to change a tire at night. Magnet holds true and has a piece of felt under it to prevent scratching your paint illumination is ok like a mid-size flashlight. well-made and could be useful in emergency, setting up camp at dusk or just shining your way on a dark lonesome road at night. (Along with main lights) I think the main convenience in having it is the ability to move it as needed or switch it from car to car/vehicle. If you are just looking to add more light to a vehicle you can get two for the same price, but they would be in fixed position.

The magnet on this thing is super strong! I put it all over my car, on the hood, on the roof, on my driver door and in between my back windows and this thing didn’t move or slide whatsoever! The light is also very bright! I like the way the light is adjustable so you can aim it where you need it. Sometimes we get to our campsite and have to set up our tent in the dark. This thing is gonna come in super handy for those times! So glad I ordered this as it has so many uses!
