> 3 dayI installed these in a few places, inside my trunk lid to give some reflectivity if its open on the road, on my trailer, and also on a hitch mount cargo carrier. Adhered well to all of the surface. Just be sure you clean the surface properly first, with something like isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt and grease prior to installing.

Greater than one weekThis conspicuity tape is as good as any other tape I’ve used. It has very good adhesion and the reflectivity is fantastic. I don’t know the letter of the law, but this tape does not identify that it is DOT-C2 approved. The listing says that it complies but the tape itself does not indicate it. This may not be an issue but wanted to call it out. I will use this tape to mark my 18’ car hauler which is rated to 7,000 lbs. Due to the weight capacity, this tape is not required, but why wouldn’t you want it? It’s cheaper for the trailer maker to cheap out and not apply it, but for this low cost, the extra risk reduction is worth it. If you are applying this to a trailer, the white block goes toward the front, red, toward the back. Begin and end at the ends of the trailer. If you have a dry van, the upper corners on the back should only be outlined with the white, no red there. Some of the pictures in the listing are wrong. If your vehicle requires this tape, at least 50% of the side length needs to have the tape. These precut lengths make it easy. Just put one on, skip a foot, then apply another. I like that this came with the plastic tool to press the decal down well. It should go without saying, but make sure the surface is clean before applying. Wipe with alcohol if needed to remove road roils and grease.

Greater than one weekThese stick very well. And eliminates my mailbox once we come home at night. Our town has no light poles on public streets. So its very dark. These help me to know my house is the next turn

> 3 dayI park my car near the road and feel like the more visible it is, to drivers passing by, the better. I applied a couple of these to the bumper. I cleaned the bumper with alcohol before attaching the reflective strips. They are well affixed and should last for quite a while.

> 3 dayWe placed this reflector tape on our metal ranch entrance gates. We live on a very dark road with no street lights. The only way to see our gates at night is with headlights from a vehicle. We were worried this could be a safety hazard so we ordered these reflector tape strips. They stuck very well and are the perfect size. We have had several rain storms since we put these on and they have stayed in place. The reflection is adequate to provide the safety we need. So far, so good! I will update my review if I experience any problems down the road.

Greater than one weekWe often walk to the store in the evening and carry our groceries in a black backpack. Our reflective vests work fine for cars in front, but cars behind can’t see the vest when we wear the backpack. I saw the listing for the EZtar Reflective Tape that said it would work on a raincoat, and I figured that meant it should work on a canvas backpack. We attached one piece of tape to each side of the backpack and cut a third piece to go on the front of the backpack. The tape went on easily, but it feels like the sharp corners of the tape might peel off the canvas. Only time will tell how well the EZtar Reflective Tape sticks to a canvas backpack, but for now we know we are clearly visible to vehicles regardless of which direction they are driving. As you can see from the photo, shining light on the reflective strips really gets a strong visible response. As long as the strips stay attached, it will make nighttime walks from the store safer.
