I love these pens I’ve been buying them for years the only negative thing is that the XS pen tip has the tendency to break. Maybe I’m just pressing too hard though...either way I love these pens

For the price and the experiment level, fantastic purchase. Lettering and pen work arent my primary thing, so this little set has been a way for me to play around and experiment with pen sizes, writing styles, and what kind of pens work best on which media. For pen work amateurs (and I write as an amateur), I think this is a great investment. Take out the pens, and start playing. See what happens, then use different papers, push your skills. This is a collection that will help you discover abilities and creative flow, for a modest investment in a quality product.

The product I received was very poor quality. Several of the tips were dried out already and the finer tipped pens were bent beyond use. I’m wondering if what I received were used pens because I know this is a named brand product that I’ve purchased from other sources in the past and was very happy with those past purchases.

I needed some pens for inking lines and was recommended these, and they do the job well. The varying thicknesses are nice. I feel the smaller pen nibs themselves are a bit flimsy, as they started to bend in the opposite direction when I pressed too hard on my paper. Because they are Indian ink they are not waterproof, which is a downside. Overall they are good inking pens and would recommend them to other people who need nice black solid lines, with the added bonus of changing line width.
