> 24 hourSo I would definitely consider this an above average projector by far which you will honestly notice almost immediately after simply just picking it up and feeling the heft to it. This definitely isn’t one of these lower quality off brand type ones every tends to buy but more like the super high end ones you find in like schools or libraries. Has absolutely every feature you could need. Plus really what seals the deal for me are not only the fact this can make up to a whopping 300” screen but it’s also rated at a whopping 900ansi which is incredibly bright allowing you to really use this projector easily say like in your living room even on a sunny day. For comparison I noticed many other projectors that were in the 150$ range already and they were limited to not only a 120” screen but a light rating of a measly 150ansi so I mean honestly that should tell you everything you need to know right there. Definitely spend the few extra bucks and get this amazing thing and you won’t regret it.

> 24 hourOkay, Im sure this is going to bring a few laughs, but I bordered this projector to have movie nights on my back deck. Of course its February so it will be a bit before that happens. However, I was excited to take it for a spin. I ordered the screen to use with the projector but it is just too large for placing it anywhere in my house. The weather warmed and I thought maybe it wouldnt be too much longer when snow was forecast and the nights get pretty darn cold. I broke down and bought white sheets that I figured Id just get a feel for what the projector would do. I finally got to see the projector in action and its petter than I imagined plus good sound besides. When the weather warms up a bit more and the basement gets into the 60s, I might even set up down there where I can set up everything to get a real appreciation for this thing. Anyway, I read some of the reviews others wrote and theres still more for me to learn, but my initial adventure into this device was via a 4k Fire TV Stick from Amazon. I plugged it into the hdmi slot and off I went after it did an ungodly amount of updating. Everything was fine until I got to identifying the TV I was running it on. No TV, just a projector. I found a Youtube on how to on a different machine and followed the directions, Just say a TV not on the list. Then it went to sound testing and no sound. It then asked if you were using a receiver or soundbar, nope, not one of them. Tried to use Netflix and got a picture but no sound. I finally found that the unit doesnt do Dolby and had to find where you shut that off and I had big screen Netflix and followed that up with Disney +. Theres more to learn for sure but, at least I know it works, has a great picture and will be fun once Spring gets here. Now off to find if theres a way to get the Fire TV remote to control the sound on the Fangor!

> 24 hourCompared to our old projector that was about half the price, this is a major upgrade! The picture quality is great, and the sound is much better than I was expecting (most people will probably get a sound system for a projector, but in my opinion I could do without). It is really easy to set up and the on-screen and paper instructions are helpful. The main home screen looks pretty sleek as well. There are 2 HDMI ports, 1 cord included, and an AV port. I connected my phone using Smart View and it worked perfectly, though I need to figure out how to adjust the screen proportions. It connected to my WiFi with no problems. The zoom on the projector has a pretty wide range as well and the carrying case is an added bonus!

> 24 hourIm a convert to Bluetooth projectors. I resisted them at first until my wife convinced me to order one. She didnt grow up in the 1950s but for some reason shes nostalgic about drive in movies. Her parents used to take the family to the drive in when she was little and thats how it started. Unfortunately, she found out that one of the few remaining drive in theaters is located in our state and she has been begging me to take her ever since. I try to keep my wife happy and typically Id just take her to the drive in but its just not that easy. First of all, just because its in the same state doesnt mean its nearby. Its half way across the state. Making matters worse, theres not a good way to get there. You have to get off the Interstate and then take a couple of state highways. Were talking a 6 or 7 hour drive round trip. Its not in the best neighborhood--I dont know if the drive in itself is sketchy but Im not inclined to drive several hours to find out. That also eliminates the possibility of an overnight trip. I have high standards for hotels and theres nothing in the area that comes close to meeting them. The projector was a compromise. It allows us to watch movies outdoors on the porch rain or shine. That keeps my wife happy. It was very easy to set up and surprisingly versatile. The 5Ghz wifi connection is very fast and dependable and itll drop down to 2.4Ghz if youre living in the last century. it also has HDMI, and USB connections. A wider range of connectivity would be nice--RCA for audio, AV and VGA for video--but I guess that would boost the price. One big upside is how configurable the device is--you can zoom, adjust the brightness, contrast, color or whatever. Itll support up to 300 displays which meant no trouble at all for our 125 screen. The built in speakers are serviceable, but with the built in Bluetooth no reason not to upgrade to better sound. What got me on board is the versatility of the device. Ive started using it to project cool atmospheric images at parties. Ive used a similar functionality for photography and video. Ill spring for the PPV of big boxing events and take it to my office so my employees can drop by and watch. Ill be doing the same thing soon as we watch the Vegas Golden Knights (hopefully) begin their road to the Stanley Cup. Just a lot of fun use cases for this high quality and extremely versatile device. Highly recommended!

> 24 hourWe havent had a chance to actually use/set up this yet as were planning on having it as our poolside projector instead of carrying ours back and forth. That said it looks and feels great, comes with the perfect portable backpack and does turn on/work. Honestly it is really nice, probably nicer than our first couple throughout the years (weve use one instead of a TV in our house for about 15 years).

> 24 hourGreat vibrant picture quality. Picture is clear even in a room with lights on. There are settings to be able to get the picture right from several distances or even from an angle. Supports several types of connections. I am projecting on a wall using a firestick. Sound is good but you can improve it by connecting a bluetooth speaker. Comes with a carry case.

> 24 hourSometime around my late teenage years, i began to sit in the front row of the movie theater when i went occasionally to see a film. This may of been to stress that i was now old enough to sit wherever i wanted and a precursor to teenage rebellion; but i suspect it was mainly to enhance certain all natural remedies of medicinal additives that were in the mix. Regardless of the reasoning for this transition to the front row, the significance is i never went back from that kind of perspective in relation to how i like to watch films. I use the tern film because i am a movie nerd with 1930s/40s and then 1960-70s being a favorite era. That kind of nerdiness requires things like turntables, vinyl, laserdiscs, vhs tapes and of course modern projectors. I now recreate the front row theater experience in my own personally living quarters. Being that i just used the term living quarters you may think i am referring to a ship or military barracks. No i am referring to a semi cramped apartment which sort of forces the front row experience, regardless if i like it or not. Thankfully i love that kind of image projection. I am semi new to home theater projectors in that i have been using different variation for about four years. Being that i live in an apartment i cant always have my projector screen in use so i use a projector certain months of the year. Those said months are usually during the winter because of the secluded wintery backdrop being appropriate for occasions such as a double feature night. I have been looking for an upgrade from the unit i have been using with the possibility of it being smaller and lighter than my current machine in use. I am very happy to say that i have found just the unit for me with this neat projector from the Fangor brand. I am familiar with this brand and have worked with a lower priced unit before with great success. This trust in the Fangor brand is why i went for this projector without looking into other brand too thoroughly. This machine is the perfect size and though i am not into the Bluetooth technology for something like this i was happy with how it linked up easily. I connected so as to cover that for this review but i am more of a traditional hardwired person. The picture of this is noticeably clear with it being super noticeable during my test. I have developed a test that showcases the intricate detail differences in the pictures quality of the two films being watched. My test involves a commercial film- that Bond film with Roger Moore, that has the golden pistol. That is an underrated gem and i use the Laserdisc version, then a Blu-ray version side by side to compare the details. I chose to place a small flat screen in front of the projector off to the side; to compare the two when sent through this Fangor projector. The Laserdisc Bond film look better than the Blue ray in that the pixilation is not there, but rather more of a faded blending thing than a box matrix. This critiquing of the two media formats, is made possible by this Fangor projector and its 4k image abilities. I used an 8k cable then a 4k cable and they both work nicely to send the best possible projection from this neat little unit. I am happy with the small size as well as the weight. Being that this is not bulky it can travel easily from place to place. I am not using this for business reasons but i di work at a high end resort that has meeting rooms. Those projectors are very large and heavy. This Fangor variation looks super professional at the end of a boardroom table and not old school. The bulb is powerful and does not heat up the machine to questionable levels. That heating up of the machine is something that i always am observing in projectors and is a feature i appreciate. Meaning; the internal fan or vents seem to be perfectly designed by the artist who made this neat unit. The price of this is reasonable because this preforms better than a machine double its price. To conclude, i am 100 percent satisfied with this projector and recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy companion to their film or game night.
