> 3 dayCompared to our old projector that was about half the price, this is a major upgrade! The picture quality is great, and the sound is much better than I was expecting (most people will probably get a sound system for a projector, but in my opinion I could do without). It is really easy to set up and the on-screen and paper instructions are helpful. The main home screen looks pretty sleek as well. There are 2 HDMI ports, 1 cord included, and an AV port. I connected my phone using Smart View and it worked perfectly, though I need to figure out how to adjust the screen proportions. It connected to my WiFi with no problems. The zoom on the projector has a pretty wide range as well and the carrying case is an added bonus!

> 3 dayI set this up inside (too rainy outside to test outdoors at the moment). Setup was easy on my own (less than 15 minutes from box opening to streaming). Picture quality appears very good. My kids loved the indoor movie night with a big screen. We streamed with a Fire stick. Some kind of streaming stick is an essential for this, and an external stand would be recommended too - unless you want to play chair and book prop to get the ideal angle (which I did for testing this).

> 3 dayWe havent had a chance to actually use/set up this yet as were planning on having it as our poolside projector instead of carrying ours back and forth. That said it looks and feels great, comes with the perfect portable backpack and does turn on/work. Honestly it is really nice, probably nicer than our first couple throughout the years (weve use one instead of a TV in our house for about 15 years).

> 3 dayThis is my first digital projector. I ordered this because I dont have a TV in my music studio and sometimes I want to show my students a short video. Im fairly decent at the tech stuff, but no expert. I got the projector set up and working in about ten minutes. I had a bit of trouble figuring out the menus, but plugged in my Chromecast and a USB drive and got them both to work. For the Chromecast I used Miracast. My only problem with the projector is that the cord is very short, so I have to use an extension cord, and the cord falls out if the projector is moved once the power is on. Otherwise, it suits my purposes, and the picture is bright enough even in a well-lit room.

> 3 dayIve used a lot of projectors over the last 30 years. This projector is a great value at this price point. The picture is detailed, bright and gigantic. The keystone adjustments. are very easy to use, and precise.

> 3 dayThe projector is a mix of great and ok. The image quality is sharp, bright, and has deep color. It is good even with ambient lighting. In pitch dark, it can be projected much larger than recommended and still look good. The sound is where this projector falls apart. If you have a sound system and do not plan on using this unit at all for sound, then you will be very happy with the projector. I was not able to get my Fire Stick to work at all with the sound. I was able to plug my laptop in and use it fine. The sound is ok, not great, when it works.

> 3 dayUpfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review. As a teacher, a scientist, and a student, I have used a lot of projectors over the years. Most used DLP chips with very hot, expensive light bulbs. The heat generated by those bulbs resulted in a strange thing in my classroom. I think I went through about half-a-dozen projectors before I finally got a large TV as a replacement. In every projector that failed the heat from the bulb killed the DLP chip before the bulb failed. That isnt supposed to happen that way but it did, over and over again with several different models and all of them were carefully handled and kept clean inside and out. I say all this before my review of this projector because I was curious if this would be similar. This projector is different. The LED light source is way cooler in temperature and far more efficient electrically. It is pretty much instant on and the menus are easy to navigate with or without the remote. Miracasting from my Android phone worked very well (only minor lag which is typical of miracasting). The built in speakers are not very loud but they are sufficient indoors to play audio at a reasonable level. I would probably use an external speaker with this for better audio. In terms of brightness, this is more than sufficient indoors. I tested it at night in my living room projecting onto a wall an image that was roughly equivalent to an 80 screen. All of the lights were on and the colors were good and not washed out. I would imagine this will struggle during the day if there is too much light, but that is pretty typical of projectors. This is going to be great for projections during parties indoors or outdoors at night, which is what my wife and I wanted it for. I am very happy with this unit. The two HDMI ports, AV in and casting ability make this a great unit for us at home and honestly it would have been better than any of the projectors I had in my classroom in the past.
