Farm Sweet Farm Sew Simple Shapes

All of Lori Holts products are quality stuff. This is no different.

Bought to make my daughter a quilt. She loves anything having to do with a farm & animals. Doing the applique are time consuming but so worth it!

I purchased the Lori Holts Sew Simple Shapes, H series, or Farm Sweet Farm templates from Crazy Quilt Girl Fabric Shop through Amazon Marketplace. The price was reasonable for the 38 sturdy templates. The sewing instructions can be found in Lori Holts blog. This purchase did not include fabric. The shipping was fast, even though the Amazon driver waited an extra day to deliver mine because my German Shepherd was in the backyard, and this scared the driver off. However, a different Amazon driver made the delivery today, and the package easily fit inside the mailbox. I will be ordering from Crazy Quilt Girl again in the future.

Just what I needed

The templates work fine, as expected, but the shapes are not really unusual--too many circles and squares and standard shapes to make this package really useful. I had hoped to have specific shapes that would help me make unusual appliques. Oh well. I will NOT buy another one of these collections again, sadly.
