Great file as I am not the strongest and with summer feet it gets the job done though I cheat a little by watering my horses paddocks so they have a little less hard hooves.

Great on summer dry season hooves . Aggressively cuts through dry, hard hooves and sharpness lasts fairly long

Sharp! Used on barefoot horses.

trimming horse hooves, this is my go to rasp. if you take care of it lasts longer and sharper than the cheap rasps. Will never go to different brand.

I had a lesser rasp that just wasnt getting the job done. Nothing lasts forever but this my old one really wasnt great to begin with and I only use it occasionally when the farrier is unavailable and I need to do my own trims. This Heller rasp is head and shoulders better and well worth the extra cost. Message as always is dont try and save a buck or two on tools. Good tools are safer and make the job easier and turn out better.

I love this rasp. Great for ripping wood off in a hurry for wood working. Great rasp. I made a handle out of the end of an ash rake handle and its perfect. Just remember to wear a glove on the other hand holding the end as this puppy is sharp and bites.

I did not know how dull my normal rasp was till I ordered this one !! I have a horse with a foot that needs attention constantly. This rasp makes it a breeze !! Thank you for a good product!! Worth the buy
