> 3 dayI love them. Im a carpenter. I build decks. I use these anywhere code allows. They hold really good and when visible, they are easy on the eye. They are treated lumber and cedar friendly. They dont corrode or stain. In most cases, you dont need to pre-drill. Ive used them in a lot of different lengths ranging from 2 7/8 up to 10. One word of advice, you do need an impact driver, a regular drill-driver wont drive these.

> 3 dayThese are wonderful bolts. Go in like silk without having to drill pilot holes. Pull in very tight with no slipping.

> 3 dayI absolutely LOVE the HeadLOK fasteners. I have been buying them for the last year or so and have used them for various wood projects. I have stocked up on various sizes including 2-5/8, 4 1/2 and 6 screws. The go right in solid rough oak with no pre-drilling. Oops, made a mistake and have to take one out... no problem... They come right out as easy as they went in and they have a very nice looking flush mount. Right now I am using them for two projects at this moment. Shoring up an old barn and replacing the barn loft floor and building a 150 cow/calf corral, all in solid rough oak. I am getting ready to buy 4 more pales/buckets of the 4 1/2 to complete the corral project. I wouldnt switch or use any other screw for strength and ease of use. They out perform everything I have ever used previously.

> 3 dayIve always hated the normal nails and screws you find at Home Depot and Lowes. These things from FastenMaster are definitely the way to go. There is no need to predrill holes and they really bite into the wood. I love them!
