I have only experienced positive use with these grips. They function as I have expected and fit the joy-con snuggly. Would recommend.

I suppose this product makes an overall improvement to the joycon. Where this product sort of fails is in the bumpers. You have to press them pretty hard and it just feels unnatural. This messes me up constantly while playing mario kart 8 deluxe. I am going to give the Surge grip a try next. EDIT: After using this product for a week or so, I have gotten used to the bumpers and the product does feel more natural. I have to change my rating from a 3 to a 4 because I now have little to no problems. The grip definitely does its job of making the joy-cons feel much better in your hands. I have not tried out the surge grips yet. I am going to just stick with these.

I got a new switch 5 days ago and as someone who plays a lot of local multiplayer with my little cousins, this seemed like a good idea to purchase. Oh man, I was right! This makes using the joy cons separately as single controllers so much more enjoyable to use! The plastic has this sort of smooth feel that just feels great on the hands. The joy cons slip it easily without any hard clicks or force, so it feels very natural and does not feel like youre gonna crack them or anything. We spent new years eve/day playing smash bros for about 7 hours straight! No cramps, no complaints, and a lot of fun! Love these things to death!!!
