This mount works as intended. The ball joint needs a bit of tightening with a wrench to secure the Wyze cam, especially if youre going to angle it. I think it has to do with the material mismatch of the plastic nut securing the metal ball joint. Id recommend checking it every so often to make sure its still secure. The plastic will tend to relax after awhile. I also noticed the micro USB cable presses against the mount when it extends out the back of the unit. I rotated my base enough so theres no stress on the cable, but this affects the rotation zero point of the cam. I wish they gave a little more room for the cable to extend. Or, integrate a cable clip/slot so the cable can run into the mount and through the bottom to alleviate any stress points on the connector. This would also have a cleaner look to the mounting. Matching colored screw hole caps would also be a nice addition. Otherwise, Im happy with it and it does what its supposed to do.

Overall product does what you expect it holds a camera. The plastic is very thin but functional. The biggest issue is the poor quality zinc casting and friction plates. The adjustments for the camera very finicky and the large mold lines on zinc casting make most positions not possible. This can be improved some some sanding. In summary you get what you pay for and this works for the price.

These keep my paints easy to use and visible. No drying out..

Bought these 2 years ago and still up here in Florida. Buying 2 more to mount camera at my Daughters House.

After you screw it to the wall, you can only adjust the tilt of camera within the slot; that is, tilt it towards or away from the wall. If you get the screws a little off, the camera will always have that tilt (side to side) that you cant correct. So be careful how you mount the base to the wall. Other than that, the mount is well made.

Good mount for the money. It holds a Wyze PanCam just fine.

After just year of use, this mount will no longer hold its position. The plastic on the mount is cheap and will not hold the weight of the camera. It is now completely unusable. A mount should last more than a year. Avoid at all costs.

Screws snapped like twigs while being installed. The housing broke as well.
