If you make the large fish then you cant make the other 4 designs. These are seriously addicting. Would be cool to add books for these with different colors and designs to create. How about 3D!

My kids love these. You can follow the instructions and build with their maps, or create your own designs. They really click together well and stay connected. We really like them!

I bought this set on somewhat of a whim, just to see what they were like, and overall I have to say that Im pretty impressed. Although the individual pieces are a bit smaller than I was expecting, they are quite well made and generally fit together snugly. You do occasionally get two that dont really connect firmly, but its really only an issue if its on an outside edge. Overall the consistency of the pieces is quite good. Theyre also quite fun to play with, Assembling the predesigned figures is really only the beginning - after that its time to come up with designs of your own. They actually work quite well to make retro 8-bit designs, if you want to build characters from NES-era games. I plan to buy some of the other sets to expand my collection of pieces/colors to make new design options available. I do have a couple of complaints, but they are overall minor: one is that all of the pieces have a definite front and back. The front is a nice matte finish: the back has a number stamped in it (I assume the number refers to something in the manufacturing process, like which machine that particular piece was made on so they can track defects. When youre putting the pieces together, you want to make sure that theyre all facing the same direction for the best look. It would also be nice if the pieces came in a resealable bag. You have to rip open the bag they come in to get them out, and the box has a whole in the front to show off the pieces. Its not that hard to find a bad or container to store them in, but it seems like it would be very easy to make the bag they come in originally resealable. As I said, fairly minor complaints. Overall, I think the product is quite good, and hope they release some additional sets.

My kids love to create and play with those beads you iron to melt together so I thought this would be a fun alternative. This one is waaaaay better because there is a actual size pattern included and if you knock it over it stays together, unlike those beads. I will buy more!!

I stumbled on these before Christmas at a unique toy store over an hour away. My son loves them! I looked online and discovered them on Amazon, as well as different kinds and bought more. They are awesome, and keeps my son busy rather than play with electronics. They are good quality, vibrant colors, and adorable. Will be buying more.

I was pleasantly surprised with this toy. My daughter (7) has been watching me do large puzzles and diamond paintings for awhile. She has wanted to join in, but still isn’t quite patient enough for either. This was the perfect combination of both for us to work on together. The template makes assembly super simple, yet keeps the sense of accomplishment. Most importantly, the end product is DURABLE. We made the fish and my kids toted it around the house for several weeks before I finally insisted we disassemble. Such a cool puzzle, but definitely still requires an adult to take it apart.
