> 24 hourI like to go hammocking during the summer months in Michigan. These are an absolute must have. Some of the hammocks that I bought were not as sturdy as far as the hooks that went on them. These are tested for over 400 lbs tried and true. Not to be used in climbing however perfect for setting up hammocks. They also make great keychains. Very durable wont bend the wrong way wont break. Snag free for delicate hammock fabric. Good price for good hooks.

> 24 hourDo not buy these for gym equipment. There is a little notch at the top of the item that is makes it fat. It is too big to go through the holes of the cables and the other end where the clip attaches is too big also. Seems sturdy and handy and would have worked great, except cant get them to fit.

The carabiners seem to be slightly inconsistent in quality in the pack I received — one of the orange ones were slightly thicker along the neck. I’m using 4 of these to hang a heavy 150lbs item in the garage, and I’m fine with that. But for rock climbing or hanging hammocks in precarious places? Spend the $ on trusted brands.

> 24 hourThese are no better than a cheap keychain carabiner. Despite being advertised on Amazon in the climbing department, they are not appropriate for that. They are much smaller than regular carabiners. Even though I wasnt planning to use these for climbing, they are completely unsuitable for my purpose as well, due to their small size.
