These are no better than a cheap keychain carabiner. Despite being advertised on Amazon in the climbing department, they are not appropriate for that. They are much smaller than regular carabiners. Even though I wasnt planning to use these for climbing, they are completely unsuitable for my purpose as well, due to their small size.

I use these primarily as clips for hunting and fishing. I do a lot of salt water duck hunting and fishing, so these get exposed to rough elements. So far, these things have held up and havent rusted. I hang everything from nets, ducks, guns, rods.. everything from these things. They definitely hold their weight and will endure a tough environment.

A bit smaller than I thought but strong

Nice and sturdy so that it doesnt open up and fall off the loop of my pants like other carabiner do. Is also strong and big enough to hold my lantern to my work bag.

We needed a strong, durable clip for our dog and this one fit the bill perfectly! Weve been using for several months without an issue.
