> 3 dayHi, I have this a 5 star as I have given up sharpening my straight razor and am going to a replaceable blade razor. I have seen others but on this one do you replace the whole blade? If so, are they expensive? Thanks for any advice, I may ask Santa for one.

> 3 dayBeautiful shavette. The miracle is selecting the right Feather blade to go with it. Watch YouTube reviews to understand the blade options.

> 3 dayReally get a good shave. Feels good in the hand and looks great too. The spring hold on the blade is strong yet its easy to replace as needed. Theres only one angle I had to avoid so as not to get bit by the square edge of a blade, but that beats other brands where you have a LOT of issues with the square edge. Overall highly recommend.

Greater than one weekSo Im kind of a moron and didnt realize this was a straight razor with replaceable blades. I actually really like it though, because I dont have to sharpen anything. They sell a variety of Feather brand blades, and the ones I got are the Artist Club Professional blades. Replacing the blades is pretty easy, you just pinch the clip open like you would a clothes hanger, remove the blade, and pop a new one in. The clip is tight enough that the blade doesnt move and that hair doesnt seem to get wedged up between the blade and the clip (which would be gross). It gives you a really close shave and I found it was really easy to use on my neck and cheeks. I have a short beard and used it to clean up around it, and it was pretty perfect for that. I cut myself up a bunch but remember: Im a moron. With practice I think it would be pretty easy to use.
