It’s a plastic box. It does what it’s supposed to do. I don’t like just tossing my used blades in the trash. Seems kinda careless and inconsiderate. This way at least I know that the homeless guy digging through my trash barrel isn’t going to accidentally slice himself open. Good, safe way to dispose of DE blades.

bought this to make sure my little one could not get to the used blades, but if you drop it just right the top can fall off and the blades go everywhere, it fine when just sitting on a shelf and if you shake it no blades come out but have had the lid come off a few times.
