These strainers are PERFECT! I would highly recommend. I was frustrated with gunk going down my kitchen drain and causing clogs. These strainers are not only nice to look at (stainless steel) but do a great job catching even the smallest crumb.

I have used the OXO strainer for many years but the last one I had wasnt the same quality any longer. this simple strainer holds more where the OXO strainer clogged up just after a few pieces of rice. works well and the price is right.

I can easily empty these baskets into my food waste bag I use for composting. They look nice in the sink too.

This is a real nice strainer. Ive used those inexpensive wire mesh strainers, but they dont hold their shape all that well, which allows smaller food particles to get under the strainer. Not a problem with these strainers. The downward angle on the rim prevents that. The only drawbacks with these is that the angled rim makes it a little difficult to remove and softer food tends to cling to the strainer when trying to empty it.

Fits perfectly in the kitchen sink and does not inhibit drainage but protects drain from food going down it. Exactly as described and needed.

the sink plug i had would always left bits of food go down the drain around the rim and id be always be pouring something to unplug the drain. this stopper is perfect - wide rim, prevents even the smalled food particle from going down the drain. even when emptying a full dishpan of water, it stays in place perfectly. it doesnt have the option to use as a full stopper to hold water, but thats when i just pull out the old stopper, really, best $6 i ever spent.

This replaced our old filter that was mesh/screen type. Got dirty and nasty very quickly. This catches all large particles while allowing water to still flow freely.
