It was easy to replace my old one with this. Fit perfectly and I like the electrical hookups - very easy to use.

I replaced a RadonAway RP265 radon pump on which the bearings failed after 2 1/2 years with this Festa Radon AMG Legend. The construction of this pump is much more solid than the RadonAway, installation was fast and easy, and it is much quieter. A great pump!

I did my research and this radon fan by far exceeded my expansions. Very quite!!!

Most new homes now come with a passive radon pipe that is routed through the interior of the house and into the attic, then out through the roof. This passive pipe is building code where I live and has been for a few years. Therefore, instead of running an unseemly pipe outside the house, its neatly concealed inside. I bought the Maverick model after sizing up my basement and using the provided guidelines. It was installed vertically in the attic with a condensate bypass, and all connections secure. In my case, the radon pipe ran up an outside 2x6 wall, with a very efficient wet spray insulation encasing the pipe. My attic also has approximately 14 of the same insulation, covered with 3/4 plywood (the plywood does not touch the pipe, and the fan itself isnt touching anything except the pipe its attached to). As far as noise isolation, I dont think many homes would have this level. Its a colonial with tall ceilings. Yet I can hear this not only in the bedroom below it, but also my kitchen under the bedroom. I wont bother talking about the efficacy of the fan, because Im sure its doing the job, which is why I gave it three stars. However, if my daughter cant sleep because of fan noise, and I can hear it all the way down into my kitchen, I probably will have to rip it out and find a better solution. Im going to give it some time, maybe Ill get used to the hum and leave it. But as it stands now, Id rather not leave that running 24/7 that amounts to a 24/7 annoyance.

Had a RadonAway originally that was still going strong @ 10 years until ice build-up doomed it. I went against my better judgement and bought Festa this time because the company is located in my home state, they use only German motors, and the housing is manufactured in the US. The Festa was very easy to install, is quiet and has more pull than my previous fan. Im happy with my choice, so far.

I bought the fan, I like it, its quiet, it’s running right now and I don’t hear it inside the house. My only complaint is that I could not use a standard 6 inch PVC fitting to connect it to the PVC pipe above and below. I guess I needed to buy the rubber Fernco fittings with hose clamps.

This replaced our old fan which was terribly noisy. Our son-in-law installed it in 20 minutes. Now we have quiet again!

I test for radon alongside of my home inspection business, and have high levels of radon in my own home. I’ve been kicking around whether to hire someone or take a whack at installing a mitigation system on my own. I messed with a number of different in-line fans, in different locations trying to see how it would effect radon levels. I thought maybe I could get away with a less expensive in-line fan, but they really weren’t bringing levels down as much as I wanted. I finally went all in and bought this fan, and my goodness it is amazing. Went from about 7.0 pCi/l down to 0.8 pCi/l. Other fans were only getting me down to about 4.0 (despite claiming higher CFM and suction). It’s much quieter than other fans as well, even ones that say they have lower decibels. Very easy to install, looks good and is working great.

This radon pump works great and is very quiet. Ive only had it running for a few days but has reduced my radon from 6.6 to 1.0.
