> 24 hourDrop-in replacement for the original, which had developed a long split in the hose after about 2 years in daily service (pools can be used year-round in TX). Did not come with a hose clamp, but we all have cable ties in the garage, I think? Easy fix. The no-whip tail end seems to cause much less whipping action than the original, which is a trade-off in scrubbing power vs. the annoyance of getting blasted by the tail cannon every 10 minutes.

> 24 hourInstalled, and observed the tail action was zero and did not move at all vs previous tail moved very well but had a hole I had taped so I needed to replace. Tried removing the heavy blue tail piece, which does not look like the product photo and observed no tail action again. The nozzle at the end of the hose has a half moon opening, which seems restrictive or possible an injection molding error. Awaiting response from company. I may drill out the nozzle opening to see if that improves the tail action. Update. The injection molding of the nozzle was part of the problem and I did use a screw driver to open the orifice. Secondly, my particular tail looked to be made from the end of a coil and was curling up and preventing lateral movement so I laid it out on a black metal table, let it heat up in the sun and then stretched and twisted until it was relatively straight. In summary, just poor quality control by the manufacturer. Companys response was typical denial: adjusting screw and internal hoses disconnected. How about poor customer service? They should give me a full refund for correcting their incompetence.

> 24 hourWorks great behind my polaris 380. I run the vacuum for 2 hours each day, after 2 months the foam fell apart so I have to order another. Otherwise great product that works just how its supposed to.

> 24 hourWhen this came I noticed that it wasnt exactly like the Polaris replacement tails Ive bought in the past (and it doesnt look quite like the picture in the listing for the product.) It had a blue plastic part near the end of the tail that looked like the kind of replacement hose that claims to keep the water from shooting out of the pool. I think it must be one of those tails because ever since I put it on the Polaris I havent had it squirt water out of the pool once.

> 24 hourThe hose works perfectly fine, just like the original. The issue is the tail sweep pro attachment at the end of the hose. It makes the hose to heavy that it doesnt move back and forth anymore. I have adjusted the pressure screw as much as possible and even checked the RPMs of the Polaris which is within the required limits. If you take the tail sweep pro off the end it works perfectly fine.

> 24 hourI found this tail to be the same or better quality than the brand name tail I needed to replace. In addition, they included a weighted tip which really helps keep down the tail to improve its efficiency.

> 24 hourProduct was purchased as a replacement for a B-2 tail for a Polaris 280. My old one was stiff with no whip action and came out of the water a lot, causing windows and patio to get a frequent spray. The new tail is a little longer and heavier with excellent flexibility. There is constant whip action unless you turn the tail flow screw in all the way. The blue attachment at the spray end seems to stop water spraying out of the pool on the rare occasions the end of the tail actually breaks the surface. So far, a great value replacement.

> 24 hourWorks great with our Polaris 280. We didn’t realize how old and stiff our old hose one was until we put this new flexible one on.
