Greater than one weekPurchased this to check for refrigerant leaks of course. I like that its compatible with all kinds of refrigerants and I tried it with soap bubbles: the claims are true, it didnt provide a false positive with bubbles. The key with an infrared vs a heated diode is you have to keep the tip moving. If it starts to indicate a leak, move away and move back again, then you can zero in.
