The games not much different and more dumber than b4. Dumber meaning, in order for scripts to give a win to me, the AI makes the other players team dumber, not that the other player lost because they played bad, but because the AI made their player slower, lose the ball, fall or collide with their own player. Worse is when an opponent hits the bar and cant score from 2 feet or when my goalkeeper makes amazing saves. New comers may find it motivating as AI makes sure all players get a win regardless of skill, but I definitely think the game designers couldnt get creative to make it feel realistic.

Worst FIFA ever made. This year’s FUT is the most pay-to-win among all fifa iterations. Skill is almost irrelevant anymore when EA decided to give expensive attackers crazy pace and agility while deceasing the defenders tracking speed and run-in tackle. Without expensive attackers or defenders, weekend league is almost unplayable. You might be able to hit gold 1 or 2 with less expensive team (300K-500K) if you are at div 2 or above and lucky enough to face less mbappe or neymar. I was in div 2 in fifa 20 and can still somehow enjoy the weekend league without a crazily expensive team as I can feel skill matters even when you facing a more expensive team. Now I’m still in div 2 for fifa 21, but don’t enjoy it at all even I can still hit gold 1 or even elite3 sometimes, as I can clearly feel skill doesn’t matter that much anymore, you will hardly to compete without Varane Gomez Mbappe neymar Mendy or at least rashford in your team. If you considering buying it for FUT, unless you want to burn more money to buy the packs or trade players constantly like stock market to make coins for a expensive team, you won’t enjoy this game. fifa 20 is bad due to inconsistent gameplay and lag, while fifa 21 is bad because EA purposely designed it to be more pay to win.
