Great game and still playing after almost 2 years!

I have owned a number of the games in this series and this is by far the worst yet. There are a ton of bugs in the online play beginning with the fact that you cant even get matches setup. It has nothing to do with your internet connection, its just plain old poor programing that has become the hallmark of EA sports games. Every time you go to setup an online match it says it found an opponent and then you wait for 3 minutes and get booted out of the matchup because it says your opponent left. This is BS from EA as they dont want you to know the truth which is that they screwed up the online play in this game. And forget playing the cups that is even worse in terms of getting booted. The way you can tell this is an EA problem and not an internet connection issue is that sometimes the game will get to the loading stage where you can dribble around and shoot and the player you are using wont even be on the team you are playing with - you can guarantee that you will be booted immediately when the game starts when you see this. A very disappointing product from EA indeed, save your money and keep playing 12 until the price comes down and the major bugs are worked out. Or better yet, dont support the franchise if this is the crap EA is going to put out for its consumers.

My son asked for this game for his birthday. He really has enjoyed it, especially the mode where he plays as if he is a professional soccer player and has to compete in matches and deal with all of the ups and downs of professional soccer, including injuries, poor refereeing, and being traded, etc. . . No violence and is generally good clean fun. The graphics are quite impressive.

Great game, fantastic price, CD arrived clean from and damages, good buy, will buy again.

I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend. He loves the game and the graphics are nice - but the game freezes all the time - usually when hes about to save. Really a bummer, considering the game wasnt exactly cheap.
