Used this apron only twice so far, so I may amend my review later. For now, this is exactly what I was looking for. I use a lot of sharp hand tools in my woodworking and carving and this apron helps protect my clothing from wear, small cuts and debris. As I have not used it much, I cant comment on the durability. However, it looks very well constructed and leather is thick but soft and comfortable to wear, not at all stiff. The apron is a little heavy to wear, but I kinda expected this. So, I like it so far. After I have used it for a while, I will update my review.

Soft n supple. Stitching and rivets all fine. But… Fits M to XXL Right After adjusting the shoulder pads, the apron hung nicely down to mid shins! I could put things into the lower pockets But The pocket was too low for my hands to reach the bottom. Placing pockets behind other pockets mean hands will only go into the front or back. On to the straps and yuckles Read the other reviews But if you want the buckles to stay in place, use hot glue So I cut off the straps and got an good set from an old worn out shop apron. Cut the apron in two places to shorten it. Took it to a nearby cobbler to put all back together. A mere $40 later and I have a good $85 apron. Nuff Said

My husband set his crotch on fire doing forge work. This is a great reason to get a leather apron. He really likes it, too.

Nice thick leather, well stitched, and lots of pockets!!! Good length too, covers all the way to my knees. Adjusts easy, slips on, and cinches up for a great fit.

This welding apron is sturdy enough for most backyard welders. The adjustable & padded straps makes it COMFORTABLE to wear for many hours. Good purchase for the money! (The O*N*L*Y reason I left 4 star, instead of 5 star, review... the apron came in a zippered storage pouch... the ODOR when I opened it was OVERWHELMINGLY B*A*D... but, I hung it outside in a covered area for 4-5 days and now it is just GREAT. I threw the pouch away.)
