> 3 dayThe leather is the good stuff, the straps are decent and the snap latch in the back works well. I do welding and Ive tried it against the heat, holds up. No complaints

> 3 dayThis apron fits well and the shoulder straps are very comfortable. I like the length also, keeps your clothes clean. Seems to be made of good quality leather. Would recommend buying this apron to wear around your shop.

> 3 dayI like it because it is both light weight and durable. Fits well and hangs well. No issues with sparks from welding either. Nice piece of gear!

> 3 dayI had hopes for this apron, as I am a welder I really needed something to keep my beer belly from getting burned. The straps are poorly designed, they are polyester and that’s not ideal for welding or metal working. The leather itself seemed fairly durable, but what’s an decent apron without decent straps.

Greater than one weekDESIGNED FOR DURABILITY. Then why are the grommets made out of thin aluminum, the webbing of the flimsiest nylon I have ever seen, attached to a buckle that I think I could break with my bare hands? After wearing it twice, only to show it off to my girlfriend, one of the grommets at the waist pulled out of the leather. Checking the other three, the leather moves easily in and out of them. The aluminum they are made of is so thin you can bend it with your bare hands (see picture). I have zero confidence the hardware on this apron would last under any real use. To attempt to get something resembling a useable life out of it, I upgraded the following hardware: - Flimsy aluminum grommets replaced with sturdier brass grommets - Cheap, thin webbing replaced with thicker mil-spec webbing - Replaced the webbing crossover with a metal one I had laying around. - Weak plastic buckle replaced with knock-off metal cobra buckle. Even with these upgrades (worth more than the price of the apron itself), I have every expectation of this thing falling apart within a few months. It gets 2 stars because the actual design isnt bad. This would be suitable for a Halloween costume at best in stock form.
