Great, but I think I enjoyed the FH5 more, the bass was better in terms of thumping. Going to buy the FH5 again and do a A/B comparison.

Coming from AKG N40, DUNU 2000J, DUNU Falcon C. Paired with Fiio X7MkI and AM3. Very enjoyable bass, highs are not so hot, like in Dunu2000j, more tamed, but better than AKGs. Using JVC Spiral Dots ML and Azla sednaearfit M as eartips. Very comfortable sitting in ears. Using the HF filter, BTW.

Ce casque est un casque très équilibré, des basses bien présentes mais pas trop, des médiums magnifiques, et des aigus bien gérés. Je dirais que son son, pour imaginer, est lumineux, ce qui peut être après une longue écoute un peu fatiguant pour le crâne mais rien de bien grave, c’est le défaut de ses qualités en somme. Pas besoin d’un ampli pour le téléphone portable, ça dépote sans, et largement !! La qualité de fabrication est parfaite, on le sent tout suite en soupesant les écouteurs (lourds), tout est métallique et solide, bien fini, le câble est épais et solide, une multitude d’accessoires (principalement des embouts et des filtres sonores) dans la boîte de rangement. Bref, pour ce prix, on atteint quelque chose de vraiment différent des casques à 200 euros, le son est magnifique, détaillé, homogène. Ce casque est un superbe compromis, et certainement le meilleur rapport qualité prix du marché actuel ! N’hésitez pas.

I purchased these Fiio FH7 IEMs at the same time that I also purchased the flagship Fiio M11 Digital Audio Player. As I believe that this setup is a match made in heaven, I will be combining the reviews for both at the same time. If you are looking at one of these items, you should also be considering the other as the qualities of one also apply to the other. I have experience with several flagship (for a little while anyway, A&K comes out with a new flagship every 6 months :/) IEMs and DAPs, some more than 5 times or more the cost of these, and IMHO these IEMs and the DAP not only compete, in most cases they actually WIN even when not normalizing for cost.

Paired with a Hiby R6 Pro, these IEMs just make wonderful music. Whether it is classical orchestra, jazz, pop, trance, these well-made 5 driver monitors offer an even, open and harmonically sweet sound via the R6 Pro balanced output (and optional Fiio $60 copper balanced cable). They are also transparent to whatever amp you use, given that they turned less harmonically satisfying in the highs and mids when I paired them with a Fiio M11 or Q5S. To my ear these IEMs paired with the Hiby just make any music flow with harmonic richness and speed. Treble is controlled and rarely spashy. One of the few headphones Ive found that does brass well-you know the type of brass reproduction that has just the right amount of bite without making your ears bleed? Paired with the R6 Pros 750mW of power orchestral brass and strings just soar with the chills up your spine. Just spin up The Funeral Pyre from Basil Poledouris wonderful Conan the Barbarian soundtrack and youll hear and feel what I mean. Mids are clear weighty and well managed against bass that can be deep and tight. Imaging is also very good. As I said in my Hiby R6 Pro review, this musical setup just makes me forget about analyzing the devices and simply let the music wash over me. They are very robust feeling as well. Using Red filters (which to my ear allow for slightly smoother treble) also using large spin tips.

Phenomenal!!! Five stars. STUNNED at how good the FH7 sounds. So much control and speed in the bass. Female vocals are such a delight. Cant believe how large they sound.

So I wanted to own these for a while before I made a review. Overall I am very happy with these!! I have been a Fiio fan for a with their portable dacs and amps. This is my first time using their IEMs, and I wasnt disappointed. I wont be able to compare them to any other brands of this price range cause these are the only ones I own (I love music, but I dont need to own several sets of headphones/IEMs). Also Im not the most technical audiophile either, just someone who likes to enjoy his music.

Im a professional musician and a sound snob - very picky on speakers and headphones. Best headphones Ive ever heard!! I use them now all the time. Love the clarity!!

Everything about these IEMs is amazing. The packaging, build quality, comfort, sound. Superb clarity and detail across the spectrum. Easy to wear for hours. Don’t look any further, just buy these.
