> 3 dayI recently bought these for use with my Dx3pro+ DAC. Comparing it to my ATH-M50x headphones, these are much more detailed with excellent imaging, a wider soundstage, and more accurate. I bought the pure silver Fiio cable to use with these and it seems to reproduce more detail. I found the DX3pro+ to be too bright and piercing (without EQ). And when paired with the FH7, it just becomes too exhausting to listen to after a while. Therefore Im now replacing the Dx3pro+ with the newly released Fiio K7.

> 3 dayI can’t believe it, but these FH-7’s beat my Sennheiser HD660-S full size headphones hands down. Never have I heard such clean separation of instruments like this before, and I’m just using them as they came out of the box. The FH-7’s also put my Grado’s to shame. SO glad I bought these!

> 3 daySo let us start with the sound of these IEMs. They are pretty decent overall. Although the following reasons is why I feel like purchasing this set was not exactly the pair I have been looking for. An immediate disappointment was a big lack of soundstage. I fail to get a level of satisfactory airiness from the FH7s. But this isnt to say that the separation is terrible. It just sounds...alright. As for bass, it is clean but it can use a bit more sub bass extension (bass tips and filters could not cater my liking). I would really like if this set had just a hint of more mids as it seems sort of suppressed. Other than that, the build and quality of this IEM is certainly pleasing. Since it bought them at around 300 at the time (a temporal offer), it seems like they are not super competitive. Giving the impression that there is better value out there (even at 300, normally 400). In summary, they are just okay. A bit disappointing :/

> 3 dayPaired with a Hiby R6 Pro, these IEMs just make wonderful music. Whether it is classical orchestra, jazz, pop, trance, these well-made 5 driver monitors offer an even, open and harmonically sweet sound via the R6 Pro balanced output (and optional Fiio $60 copper balanced cable). They are also transparent to whatever amp you use, given that they turned less harmonically satisfying in the highs and mids when I paired them with a Fiio M11 or Q5S. To my ear these IEMs paired with the Hiby just make any music flow with harmonic richness and speed. Treble is controlled and rarely spashy. One of the few headphones Ive found that does brass well-you know the type of brass reproduction that has just the right amount of bite without making your ears bleed? Paired with the R6 Pros 750mW of power orchestral brass and strings just soar with the chills up your spine. Just spin up The Funeral Pyre from Basil Poledouris wonderful Conan the Barbarian soundtrack and youll hear and feel what I mean. Mids are clear weighty and well managed against bass that can be deep and tight. Imaging is also very good. As I said in my Hiby R6 Pro review, this musical setup just makes me forget about analyzing the devices and simply let the music wash over me. They are very robust feeling as well. Using Red filters (which to my ear allow for slightly smoother treble) also using large spin tips.

Greater than one weekI was skeptical about spending about half a grand on these IEMs. Based on some of the initial impressions form audiophile reviewers I decided to purchase these. I am very used to the planar sound signature of Audeze LCDs and have been looking for a close sound signature in terms of detail, clarity, soundstage, impactful and tight bass, great Mids and vocal and ofcourse crystal highs in an IEM. I put the FH7s on and 5 songs in I know I had a winner on my hands. It hit on all the right spots. The soundstage is great but not as close to LCD3 (but to be fair they are open back planars). The first 60 minute listen was directly connected to iPhone. Then I hooked it up to a DAC/AMP, it was a whole another level, you gotta listen to it to believe it. I just cant take these IEMs off. Everything sounds so great, Rock, Pop, Hip-hop, Jazz. Listening to Dave Brubecks Take Five on these IEMs is a revelation. I am very happy, pleased, and impressed with what FiiO has done with the FH7s. Thank you FiiO.

> 3 dayThe moment I start using these FiiO FH7 IEMs, I discovered sounds that I couldnt hear with my other over-the-ear Sennheiser 660S. Very comfortable, recommended!

> 3 dayAmazing for the money. I have a decent amount of higher end headphones but I buy cheap iem’s since they can get damaged much more easily, out and about. This is the most I’ve spent on a pair of iem’s and I’m glad I did.
