I bought this fire poker to use with our outdoor fire pit. It’s easy to assemble by screwing the 2 halves together and functions well. Good value for money.

The idea of having a fire poker that I can easily store when not in use is awesome. Comes apart easily and does not come apart when using.

This poker stick is nice and sturdy. Previously I was always looking for a stick to use on my campfires. Sometimes I would use my smallest log. Having this poker allows me to use every log. The handle is smooth. The collapsing feature certainly makes it handy for storing. Highly recommended.

This fire poker is well made and sturdy, its heavy and comes in 2 peices that you have to put together. My only issue is that its shorter than I expected. It might be good for an indoor fireplace but for a large outdoor fire pit its a little on the short side.

Longer than most. Works for indoor & outdoor fireplaces (consider getting two)

    This was a good length.

I bought this to use outdoors with a small patio fire pit. I like that it breaks down into 2 parts that screw together, which will make it that much easier to store when not in use. There are a couple things in the product description that need clarification. First, the description states at one point that this is made from alloy steel and in another place it says stainless steel. This poker is alloy steel with a black coating. Second, the description states that it is made from high strength Q235 alloy steel as if to indicate that this is some special steel alloy. Its not. In fact, Q235 is just the Chinese industry standard designation for what is called A36 structural mild steel in the USA. Thats not to say this steel isnt up to the job its being use for here, it will work just fine, just dont buy this thinking that you are getting some exotic steel based on Q235. Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase and I anticipate that this will last many years.

It was good for poking the fire, but the handles get loose from eachother and the pointed end starts turning when you really just want it to really poke the wood
