> 3 dayFisher-Price 3-in-1 Baby Activity Center with Lights & Sounds, Newborn Play Mat, Baby Sensory Toys looks like a good way to keep a baby in one spot and entertained. has lots of little doodads for them to explore. its kind of like a little table with a seat in the middle of it you drop your little person into and has little gadgets and nicknacks to play with. the nicknacks are removable for cleaning and un-tabled play activities. i dont think this is designed for meals, but there are slots on the table that very well could be used for food as well as the toys. like cherrios or something. everything appears to be designed with baby safe materials for baby level play.

> 3 dayMy niece has been enjoying this space station (as my sister calls it) since she was just a couple of months old when we had to supervise her every second and were basically just waving the toys in front of her face. We never used the play mat for tummy time, but would put her in the seat and help her keep her head up. She loved it, and loved watching the toys, and she really seemed to like stretching her legs out and practicing pushing her little feet against the floor. Now that shes getting to the point where she can sit on her own and manipulate the toys herself, shes loving it even more. Theres a nice mix of colors, textures, and ways of interacting with the items, and theyre all attached securely enough (but removable) that they stay within reach for now. My husband (a carpenter) assembled it, and at first he was Not Happy, but then he read the instructions and -- lo and behold -- it turned out to be very simple. I think it would have taken just a few minutes if hed read the instructions first! (It didnt take much more than a few minutes as it was.) I imagine our niece will enjoy this more and more as she starts to get a better grip (haha) on motor control and is able to be more deliberate in her physical interaction with the toys. I cant comment on the slide that later replaces the seat, but Im hopeful that well be able to keep this around for a little while!
