> 3 dayIm impressed with the value of this guy, and Ive actually purchased the whole set. Even the inexpensive Moose was great, but the alphabet otter is terrific. Setup is simple. They all have batteries included. Turn them all on, or at least have one saying something around the time the others turn on, and they will be linked. When these toys are linked, they will laugh at eachothers jokes, cheer when you guess the right letter (one of the otters games) and sometimes sing together. Its a surprisingly effective illusion of socialization if you have a child in a room surrounded by these guys. They all light up with LEDs that glow the same color at the same time. The sloth is the largest, and the only one with moving arms. He has a very amusing counting game where he will count to 2 or 1, and of course the joke being that hes a lazy sloth. He is effective at learning a few letters and numbers, and for singing along. His main song gets a lot of interaction from the other animals. Like everything from this brand, this is a very sturdy and difficult to damage toy. The motor for the arms is loud enough that you can hear it during songs, but the arm motion is an effective and simple effect. The sloths head tilts in the same rhythm and its just a lot of fun to watch, particularly for a young child. Most Linkamals have a volume setting (high and low) and this does. With several of these guys playing at once, youll want low volume! Given how easy this is to use, how well made it is, and how effective it is at entertaining a very young child, this is a great value. I recommend getting at least two of these to start.

Greater than one weekIts cute, but it really doesnt do much. It sings and waves its arms but not really interesting enough to keep my babys attention for a long period of time.
