I babysit my granddaughter once in a while. I needed a high chair for her so I can cook and everybody can sit down to eat at mealtime. I didn’t want a full size, free-standing high chair so I browse through Amazon and found this one. It does the job without taking up so much space and it will work when she is 3 or 4 years old. All I have to do is removing the tray and she can join the whole family at the table.

This was purchased as a shower gift that was chosen by the expectant mother. After seeing it in person, I would never have bought it. It is very small (good for some chairs I guess) and the tray is much too small. I think the mother-to-be was also a bit disappointed when she opened the box. My window to return had passed or else I would have offered to return this item. It is very lightweight (I really hope it is stable enough for baby). I dont think the Fisher-Price items are what they used to be and they are just trading on their name. There is another item like this on Amazon that I had purchased for my grandson a few years ago. Much larger tray. The top part of the tray is removable and the bottom part can be used as a little play area and has a high lip going around so things dont fall off. If you are in the market for this type item, look very well on this sight. Look in the stores to see what they actually look like, then compare Amazon prices. Im sorry I cannot say anything too positive about this item. Years ago, when I had my daughter (34), Fisher-Price was the go to for childrens items. (I still have her play table and chairs that my grandson uses!). Today, I would look elsewhere.

I have had this booster seat for my son since he turned about 1. He is now 2 years and 4 months old, weighs about 31 lbs and stands about 3ft high and the seat is still going strong. He loves it and it is a great seat. Having tried this seat, I always recommend this alternative, over a high chair. We attach the booster seat to one of our regular dining chairs and it attaches to the dining chair securely. There are three adjustments on the dining tray which comes with the booster seat, so as your little one grows, you can adjust the snugness of the tray, accordingly. Additionally, you can remove the dining tray and position your little one around the dining table to dine with the rest of the family, or position the dining chair with the booster seat and detachable dining tray attached, in front of the tv, for those moments when feeding your toddler in front of the tv is more convenient. Another pro is that the booster seat cleans up very easily as it has no fabric or compartments on it to trap food particles. The only con I have found is that if you attach the booster seat to a dining chair which has fabric on it, expect the fabric to become soiled from spills and food particles etc, however you can unstrap the seat easily and clean the dining chair as often as you wish. Additionally, after awhile, I just covered my dining chair with a nice bit of linen to catch spills and food droppings. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I am now looking for one for my brother who has a daughter who is 6 months old.

We have used one of these daily for over two years now and it has held up very well. It is easy to clean, very light weight yet durable, the straps are long and can reach around most chairs. This is our second one to leave at the grandparents.

    Greater than one week

I wouldnt want to use this on a daily basis, but for an inexpensive, easy to clean, compact to store, high chair for the grandkids, it is perfect.

This toddler booster chair was exactly what I needed for my granddaughter. She grew out of the high chair but wasn’t big enough to sit in the chair without a booster. I like this one because it pulls her up under the table closely. She is still strapped in the seat. The seat cleans up easily and folds up.
