> 3 dayWe havent even yet got the C batteries for this, and my baby loves it. He is about 7 weeks and sits very comfortably in it (hes 12 lbs). Likes to look around at things. Originally took some interest in the birds but now he just assesses the world beyond. Very comfortable, if pricey! Assembly was easy - did it myself.

> 3 dayI chose this for its subtle colors and sweet birds. I like that the rod detaches. The nature sounds are very nice, I whistle along and ribbit, which the little guys loves.

> 3 dayMy 2 month old was happily kicking away in this a few feet away when I looked up from what I was doing and saw he was bleeding all over the place. The plastic housing unit for the motor is hard enough under the fabric layer that as he was kicking it split his skin open. Not happy about that. Its not like hes gonna have his foot amputated or anything, but seriously? Babies kick. I feel like that should have been taken into consideration before putting something that hard right under where baby feet will land. To the parents Id advise you stick a towel or something over it to soften it. To Fisher Price, Id advise maybe suspending the motor further under the seat so its not hard enough to inflict injury. Anyway, Im annoyed about it enough that Im gonna send pics of his bloody foot and the bloody chair to Fisher Price just so theyre aware of it. I didnt give it one star because I actually like the stupid thing when its not, you know, shanking my baby. Derp!

Greater than one weekBattery compartment is almost inaccessible and requires a SCREWDRIVER! This would be a great chair---worthy of 4-5 stars---but for one completely stupid, abominable fault: to get the battery compartment requires you to turn the entire chair upside down, unfasten some VERY tight, tight and stretchy fabric that surrounds the electronic part of the chair, and once you manage to wrestle your way to the battery compartment, it is sealed with a tiny, fiddly screw that MUST be used to open and re-close the battery compartment. This makes it so inconvenient to change the batteries that the chair often sits for DAYS unused because I cant find the time or energy to do all the work required just to change the bloody batteries. I dont mind that its battery operated, because it means I can use the chair in places there are no wall outlets. I also dont mind too much that it requires 3 C cell batteries, although it would be better if it had a built-in rechargable battery that could be recharged with a cord. If you use alkaline batteries they can last a couple weeks; NiCads last about a week. But changing the batteries is so badly designed, so infuriating (Im tempted to use the f-word here), that it completely destroys the usability of the product.

> 3 dayWe have purchased several of the Snugabunny seats. Although the description of the item includes the word bouncer, it does not bounce. That is a good thing. It can be still and quiet or it can soothe baby with vibrations and sound.

> 3 dayReal nice and sturdy chair. It has seen some rough use and it is as good as new. Baby loves it and spends a good deal of time in it.
